  3. This arrived in the mail today.. I'll have it on Saturday ~ edit add:.. my battery died earlier
  4. It will be sometime next week earliest.. I have commited one of my reps to a member in UK.. whom became a supporter (he would have probably done so anyway) last week .. so we could discuss one of my reps that I have NEVER worn, I am concerned about customs in the UK though.. I'm trying to make it a win~win situation, the IWC Portifino (never worn) is his.. some of the reps that will be up are UPO -eta divers strap and bracelet (still in plastic) black dial Monte blanc Time walker .. never worn Baume Mercier .. Riviera .. never worn Omega Speedmaster .. maybe with HK Tan Gator.. never worn That's a taste of what will be put up ... so get with the program all you non~supporters.. There is a member whom inquired about my Omega PO Chrono.. if you read this please contact me.. i will hold off on listing that one.. Robbie.. to take a shot with all the reps,... I would have to use the cargo bed in my Van... that would be like work brah !!
  5. Lello, you know we have become friends over the last few years ... and as a friend I will state that I don't blame you for the DW's.. in the same breath it is not anyone elses responsibility that the DW were defective, but you and ergo the printer... I had chosen not to pursue the cost (to me) of the defective DW's. which was quite high actually. I had 2 watchsmiths claim they were defective.. I understand your emotions are running high, but Lello... the printer for whatever reason.. be it someone new doing the work.. or whatever, really messed up, granted this had never happened before.. but I don't think it fair to blame anyone else.. no one sabatoged anything.. none of the DW were in correct working order. Can you imagine how frustrating it would be to tear down the movement time and again and none of the DW's functioned properly.. no one brought your name to any board or post .. neither I nor anyone for that matter posted the work was defective. I have several Pams that i put a lot of $$ into only to have the last piece of the puzzle missing .. the DW .. the most important (to me) the correct font. .. I have lost interest in the Pams (for now) as it was a total frustration.. but with that said, did not blame you .. I was a irratated with the printer.. in general. And you cannot for any reason blame Ziggy for his policy of not installing After Market DW's .. what would you do if the shoe were on your foot ??? .. it would not be fair to Ziggy or the Client either way it is a Loose~Loose situation. Again I will say, the money I loss is as far as I am concerned is ... water under the bridge ... this is a hobby and you are not the factory dealer .. ergo .. I was very happy with the Runs that you did that made my reps come alive.. sometimes this is the chance we take .. I am not the only one that has lost money with this passion for timepieces. Lello, you know me,.. I do not point the finger,... and take responsibility for my own actions .. with that said .. I hope you can find peace, and know that no one was or is, looking to do you harm in any way shape or form .. your defective DW's was not done maliciously on your part .. it not Ziggy's responsibility, nor mine .. but as I said .. I have "let go" .. the fact that I spent a lot of money and the items were defective... I would have never have posted this,.. but sometimes you have to look within instead of at everyone else.. Aloha~Ciao Lani
  6. Sheesh W ... I was just joking about selling stuff... just wanted to see who would bite.. and sign up to support the community... No seriously .. I will be listing a bunch. of reps ... but no way the BS strap.. in fact I just sourced a Swiss 7750 to go into mine .. you got me over the edge.. (good edge) and thank you to the members that pm'd to say they signed up for supporter.. and the dude who signed up for platinum.. way to go ma man !! @JTB.. brah .. that is cool !!! ,. kinda nutz but cool
  7. Hi All, I have too many pieces that I have worn maybe once.. I keep them polished and active frequently .. most have been regulated. I am posting this thread as a "Heads UP".. Because to get these reps... one needs to have at the very "least".. supporter status. the reason: There are many members who give not only time ,.. but support the forums daily "usage" through "supporter" and "Platinum Status".. I may decide to post some pieces in the "Plati section" only .. since these members pull the weight for the rest. Or I may post in "supporter" ... I'm not using this as leverage.. in actuality I am "supporting" those who support "Us" So, get with the "Ball Game" if your not a supporter, then it may be time to do so.. for mere pennies per day.. and besides the $$ that are needed to keep the lights on,.. you may very well be doing... "The RIGHT THING" Cause by supporting yourself,.. you support a Forum that is infinitely much more than watches.. WE ARE FAMILY !!!! Aloha~Cheers Lani
  8. This for Friday AM~ PM Friday~
  9. thanks DL.. but one,.. I don't speak Spanish .. and 2 .. yikes the starting bid is a bit high.. and all I need is the movement...
  10. . . . . . . . Who's taking shots at the "Master Blaster of Lume" . . . common up and up . . sometimes ya wish this were a face to face "real" live situation.. . . . Mind over matter Ziggy !!.. "Those who matter don't mind... those who mind , don't matter" being Numero Uno ... people are alway's going to take "Shots" more so when they don't have to show their face. But back on point .... the impossible only makes your art Extremely Great !!!
  11. Sorry I'm late ,.. came by as fast as I could.. . .Well, You said to post um
  12. @JAG.. dunno... it would have to fit a 1680 MBK case and I cannot remember where the dial feet are.. ?? I will try and find out .. @ FX.....Thanks FX.. I'll stand by.. Thank you guy's R
  13. btw.. if anyone's wondering .. the shutter didn't stay open long,.. imagine if I charged it under fluorescent lighting for 30 minutes.. .. this was just left in the window sill for a few minutes.
  14. I am stuck on my Tudor Snowflake project.. long story short.. I have checked the bay.. googled the 2872 and come up with nada.. so if anyone out there has (and would like to sell) or can point me in the direction to source a 2872 .. I would very much appreciate it .. sooner or later, I hope to have the snowflake on ma wrist.... I would rather it be "sooner" .. than "later".. thank you in advance for any support you can lend.. Aloha~Cheers Lani
  15. Ok,.. I couldn't do this when I shot these images,.. the lume was not at full power, and it was getting dark out.

  19. SEE !! Imagine if the Forum was down for an extended period !!!! On Sunday (last) I was lost without RWG... (you know what's coming next) So anybody who is "not" a SUPPORTER or better still Plati member.. what are you waiting for.. the lights to go out for a week ?? Or are you of the mind set that the "next guy" .. will pay your way? if you can afford a rep,.. you definately can afford a few pennies a day..
  20. Seems like the Brussels GTG is the largest and most glamorous, man this is like the "Pro Bowl" of Rep gatherings .. can't wait to see your pics of everyones timepieces again
  21. too many variables to tell.. your acidity .... don't polish with metal polish.... how often you wear it.. do you abuse your watches .. in otherwords are you a bull in a china shop with your wrist... I woudn't worry about the plating wearing off.. the movement will probably need servicing by then 5 .. 6 years. maybe .. jus guessing .. I am using mine on just "occasions"
  22. Jut a lume shot for now.. back from Canada... DSSD
  23. Hy RM .. I'm not speaking about Ziggy's talent.. cause he has more knowledge and talent in one digit of his little pinky than I'll ever have in my whole being.. but if your painting hands, it may be wise to thin out the paint as much as possible, I'm talking just from experience with car paints .. if you using oil based paint , use thinner, and add it to the paint to thin it out, as all you want is the colour and not the texture on the surface, it should be so thin that it runs off the brush.. or can fit through the nozzle of an air brush.. same with water base.. hope that helps your next project.. the very first time I "sprayed" .. and didn't thin the base paint was quite funny in Hind sight
  24. I didn't have time to charge the Lume properly .. just a few minutes in the window, cloudy skies.. but here are the pics .. back from the land of Zig. I'll post another in a few day's after it is fully charged Thanks for viewing Lani
