I know there is one issue that could be a deal breaker if not addressed,.. but if you know my MO,.. I don't repeat anything unless I can verify it first and without the proto pics,.. I don';t get into the "why's" until the finished product is ready.. it wouldn't do any good to ask for details ... the maker can say any number of things and I don't want to put the dealer in a compromising position.. so, I simply say .. OK .. and pass on that it will be delayed

Congrats Cats !!!! The SL lume, on the 1680 Red is very eclectic to say the least... I had the chance to view the genuine .. I was told it was released in the UK only.. and the Luminova that Rolex did at their factory was opaque as yours seems to be, .. the red printing on the genuine was very, very bright .. fyi.. now is the time to savouir Live Strong and Wear it Well !! I don't think that is the issue .. as the DLC coating is involved and other issues that have nothing to do with the ss version .. we could speculate .. but bottom line is "June".. then again that could change,... as we have learned in this biz,... gotta be flexible.. Cheers

I put an ofrei pearl on my SD .. that I use in the early morning hours (1am~6am) and upon passing a florecent light I held my dial face up to it for a minute.. the Ofrei pearl took on a blue tint.. strange.... at all other times it was green as was the lume on the SD dial... dunno,.. could be the lume batch as blue and green are very close in the colour spectrum ?? as I was viewing it with the naked eye.. I found it quite interesting.. forgot about it until I read this thread.. I would charge it again tomorrow and see if there is a difference.. or charge it in a different light source (???) my guess is that the company that produces the lume is using different mixtures in the lume colours to produce the green.. maybe a hint of blue ??

Sorry , I was not trying to imply that he will contact you in a few day's.... the best advice I got years ago .. when I was in the restaurant biz was..."you are not dealing with 'people' you are dealing with 'emotions' ... " I carry that into everything I do .. as on a daily basis I have 2000 customers that can be nice but there are always the percentage that will be demanding .. and even obtuse, and I have been know to tell them in a direct way ... "Do not use that language,.. or attitude with me, or we will have problems" .. and when I knock on their door in person .. their attitude usually changes ... fast ! what I am saying is even people that service customers have their breaking point.. let things cool down and "you" may want to contact Joshua again... Life is a "Give and Take".. although we are the customers ... if you have built a biz relationship with a vendor you get to know their idiosyncrasies, it's all about reading people and putting yourself in their shoes.. but it's up to you ... I would give Joshua a day or two .... we all have massive stress these day's and the fact that the maker is churning out defective movements does not help things ... all I can say is everyone has day's where coping is not an option... I have had many of them meyself... I'm not making excuses for nyone.. but this week has been a very bad week ... and sometimes weeks turn into months .. we all ride it out , but it does take it's toll judging by the inflection in the emails I have exchanged with Joshua ... (sometimes you need to read into the tone) .. give him a couple of day's ... and get in touch with him again.. for me,.. I have decided to go the route of the vets ..... on the reps that are l,eaning toward "super" I will swap the Valjoux eta 7750 movement Hope everyone has a great weekend ... Since too many members have been having problems with recent A7750 movements, I fyi'd my dealer to please alert the factory of this issue,... it seems to have started happening in high numbers with the release of the breitling reps. Do not attempt to recify the problem yourself ... that would put your exchange in jepordy,.. before I send any of the A7750's to Ziggy for Service,.. which is very much needed .. if you follow threads that break down the A7750 quality.. you will note that this is repeated... "it is a good movement if serviced properly") in other words "it's the singer not the song" my choice is to pay for professional servicing, the A7750 runs beautifully after service. but I take responsibility for anything I attempt to do with the rep ..... in other words I inform my dealer first !! .. if he say's just send it back.. that's what I do,.. if I ask if I can try the regulator arms first.. and he gives me the green light.. then it's all good.. my point being don't damage the movement more,.... and then claim it came that way.... Hopefully the factory can be alerted of these issues with the movement .. if anymore detailed info is available on the exact problem that seems to be plauging the A7750 these last few months,.. I can request that the maker be alerted and asked to look into the service issue.. I am not a spokesperson for any dealer nor pretend to be an ambassador to anyone .. but information passed on as a request can't hurt .. I believe we need to give them something concrete to help them correct the issues at hand.
