do you think the DW he is offering HERE will fit an ETA 2836/ 2824 movement? I am looking for a DW with flat 3 for my MBW 1680 to get it finished.

It won't work not only is it for the 1570 and 75 but the layout of the font is different from the wheel for the 2836 I believe.. you would need an Overlay.. dunno if stilty still has em.. I have one from the form Kruzer and Co. from years ago.. just need to get it fitted onto my 1680..

If it is, that's cool.... you can always use it later for another project D

I would advise taping your thumb with some athletic tape.. before doing the sanding..

but after you swap the insert it should look like this..

The lugs D.. the bezel.. the blocky look or the PreV and the different shape of the CG's.. most rep cases have the dimple or bevle between the lugs.. the older versions did or had a very slight dimple.. the case that was gifted to me by my Brotha in CO. has no dimple ..

This is the genuine crystal.. it has a definite strong blue hue

the dial is also gen

at different angles the hue will more apparent

This also has a gen dial.. but with a Chief treated AR on the rep crystal.. the only gen thatcomes close to chiefs AR is the Ulysse Nadin's, chiefs has absolutely no reflection of light

In full on direct light it will have a faint plume hue but in direct sunlight.. Nothing but dial

The Lume on the Gen is good.. not as good as the gen Panerai's.. and equal to Ziggy's

Depends what kinda engines you got.. like Deniz states, only the 4th generation PO will accept gen parts.. there will be another version being released in 3-4 months that will accept gen parts (42mm).

How much have you worn the watch? Unless you've worn it all day and been at least somewhat active, I wouldn't expect it to be fully charged.

if you shake it and it starts up.. it will have only enough in the PR to run for a bit before it stops again.. give it a gentle hand wind for about 10 rotation.. going slow and let the rotor do the rest whilst wearing it all day.. get a winder to keep it charged overnight.. fyi the winder is not to charge it but to keep it charged once it has full PR.
