BT.. don't get it ... but it 's only IMHO one of the better TT

The TT BCE in Black dial is IMO awesome.. the souble AR really makes the TT dial .. it is "plated" though as opposed to 'wrapped" it all depends on how acidic you are.. definately a watch you'd want to wear when the weather is cool .. it should be ok as long as you don't over polish (cape cod) would thin out the plating a lot.. but this piece can go casual of dressy .. again just my opinion.. sorry for the lighting..

toothpicks are a great piece of wood to have.... pull one spring bar slightly out then stick a toothpick in the space (not where the spring bar is) where the bracelet meet the case back.. this way the spring bar does not keep popping back in.. you are free to open the other bar and the battle is won.. i use this with the IWC pilots too .. now that is a bear to get open without toothpicks

there is another thread with the same issue.. but for your piece of mind ..seems like all the postal clerks have their own interpretation of the postal service.. i was told the other day that I could not mail watches express.. got back in line ans saw a clerk that knows me.. and it was done.. that was to go to Ziggy. when i send watches back to Josh.. it goes registered air..no tracking.. it takes about 10 business day's .. not a problem.. it gives the history when it arrives in china.. never sent with tracking.. all in all it takes about a month to go and come back. REMEMBER this is the time of year when everything slows down!! And when it arrives in china ... they are not real swift in getting it through their customs.. but it has never been a problem.. as long as you follow the guidelines when declaring.. if the postal worker 'test" you and gives you a commercial slip .. that is the wrong one.. just declare it as 10 usd sample gift on the green customs slip.. no more and do not insure it for what you paid for it.. I just email the registered number to the collector.. someitmes it takes a little over 2 weeks for it to arrive in China.. again it's that time of year.. no worries it's all Good lani

Cousteau... inner bezel is not spot on you have to maually adjust it half a click for the 12 marker to line up with the second timer hand the lume is not bad but needs a relume ... the day- date wheel needs adjusting the rubber strap is probably the best out of all the reps .... the double AR is just that .. (good) all said it is worth getting..the silver/white sub dials are briliantly done (concentric circles).. the 06 though is more toned down and I guess you could call classic look SOSF IMHO.. the better lume out of the box out of the 2 Double Ar is to me one of, if not the best out of the box. appears not to have a crystal at angles... not so much on white but on the blk and Blue dials screw down crown needs to be "seated" with use, so be careful.. very tight at first u need to break it in.. mine are (knock on Wood) doing fine..I had used watch oil on the srew to help seat the threads the leather strap (need to get one along with the bracelet) is one of the best rep straps once it is broken in.. leather ages nicely bezel and pearl are superb.. ditto on the dial very heavy watch easpecially with the bracelet.. and the bracelet and clasp are good.. hope that helps

gotta get the 06 if u gonna get the 07 and if u gonna get the 06 and 07 u gotta get the blue, black and white SOSF.. i know.. i have been no help... but it's the thought that counts

Being a Pacific islander, I do miss the snow(but not the cold) and the fire place... I alway's have dreamed of seeing the Alps and the rest of Europe. I have a request ,.. I would really like to see your City Holiday Lights from California to Europe to Asia and beyond...and if you do celebrate Chistmas do you have a special ornament that has been handed down through the generations? And if Tradition has any bearing on your Holiday's what is it? In Seattle it was really cool to cut down our own tree..how bout u? And not to exclude anyone.. I believe in respecting all Faiths and Beliefs, because I do believe no matter what you believe or who you choose to pray to, it ultimately goes to the same mailbox... faith and beliefs are a personal choice ...IMHO... how do you celebrate not necessarily Christmas but .. Pass over or Hanuka (sic) .. to say that I will never receive a defective "replication" would be total denial on my part.... will they keep accurate time out of the box.. a few maybe.. the movements are good but 99% would need "proper" servicing.. To service a eta 7750 movement would cost around 750 usd at the retail level,..... and even then I am not sure I would be getting value added service, so i choose to send them to Canada for quality added service... and with the fact that the factory workers in the country of origin are less than "professional" it's amazing that some of the watches keep time at all.. so I have to ask myself ..."would I be able to purchase this Rep. in a store that guarantees quality?" NO.... the price I pay for the rep may only be the tip of the iceberg... I look at these imitations more as art form than instruments that will never give me problems .. it is a costly hobby, be it replication or genuine... so at times I have a great canvas to be a starting point with. so, i have choosen my collector for his after purchase service as well as all the other choices I make... now if I recieve a rep that is doa or has major quality issues he will ship another one out to me ASAP before I return the bad one,. For example, the IWC Aquatimer I got was defective.. I still have it, as the collector has stated that it will be all right to ship it out after the xmas lines at the post office mellow out.. and the replacement arrived 4 day's after recieving the first.. I am not going to change how they do business across the world but I do have "choices" as far as how that way of doing business is handled after the purchase...I can only speak for myself and it's up to the new members to make thier own choices given the info on this forum... a new member asked if he should get the Blackbird .. I pointed out the flaws and the fact that it was not a "Super Rep",.. he chose to get it.. "his choice" and he is happy .. win, win.. i also pointed out the pitfalls of reps. that way it was his' choice, knowing full well what kind of hobby this is.

3.35 for regular in all areas of Oahu.. more on the neighbor islands.. Big island, Kauai, Maui .. Molokai, takes 20 min from one end to the other so who's counting pennies on Molokai

Received my BB bracelet from Joshua today.. thankyou Joshua for added value to my BB.. the fit at the lug is not as spot on as the BCE .. still I really like the brushed links and the beveling at the links this bracelet is toned down from the bling we see on the BCE ... the fit actually feels a bit better than the polished bracelets.. I really thought I would stay with the HK Tan Alligator for a while .. but after putting this on .. well nuff said.

BB ... Bracelet

I used a toothpick to hold open one side then did the other...with a tool depress one side.. insert a toothpick to hold it open then release the other side.. After opening the spring bar hold it open and insert a toothpick in the open area then let the toothpick hold open one end while you work the other end.. I have it laying flat for the purpose of taking the shot.. but manuver the case as you see fit..this has worked numerous times .. a result of frustrated tries at removing the bracelet .. it is times as this when you realize how essential a good spring bar tool is.. and even at that the toothpick is a life saver for me. hope this works for you

I will agree with kruzer also.. i understand how you feel, believe me.. if the modder/dealer will not accept responsibility then that is another issue.. unfortunately many times we think the best and get the worst.. that is the reason I am willing now to wait ... however long it takes for my mods to go to Canada.. nuff said,.. on that emotions are involved .. just something to be mindful of... (from someone who was at the same place)

It's ready when you are double AR ... white dial ... black dial.. finished case set as per description on collectors site!!! need to check case back though

It just amazes me how people come from educated areas of the world and cannot even pronounce a simple Hawaiin word.. Lol...for us it's so simple a 10 year old can do it..
