thanks for the great pics men.... i to really did not think much of the 3717 when I first looked at it.. but the markings look vintage and a watch with added history alway's appeals to me... the markings really "grow' on you for some reason... i am ordering the bracelet but have already choosen the strap from .."The Watch Boys" one question I have is "back in the day" was AR coating used as double sided, or was it used at all? thanks again lanikai

can I ask what the "damage" was ... was it defective out of the box? ... movement ? crown ? was this watch damaged, after being worn or defective, not running properly ?

Yes .. i agree with your choice .. the ST. EX is too much dazzle in the dial to be (to me) a vintage look.... and the vintage look is what i like ... so thank you for the feedback @ Pug .... agree .. it's definately a crap shoot with these movements... but sooner or later it will have to go to Ziggy for servicing anyway

Yes none of the tabs are properly fitted.. these are screw in tabs and can be replaced... the collector was informed and will get with the maker to see if these can be corrected .. the bracelet is also in the process of being made.. I can only inquire about these "faults" ... hopefully since thes are removable tabs the maker can correct them without (for lack of a better term) another production run .. these "tabs" appear to be hand cut so I wonder about the precision of the fit.. so better that there was at least a live rep to photo so what you see is what you get.. I wonder if the watch varies (with the tabs) according to the "cut" of them ??

Yes that is a cut out attached with a screw .. i asked if a new one could be sent, this was cut on a Monday .. obviously (no production line does well on Monday's or Friday's) On Monday's you are hating life on friday's you just want to leave work.. so on these 2 day's workers are not at their best.. so we used to say if you got a harley or car that had a lot of problems when new ... it was probably built on a Monday or friday the ss/bracelet will be ready soon..

thank you, I asked that to the colector and was told "at this time there is no bracelet" .. so interpret that as you want.. I take it as no... But I will ask the collector again..in the meantime I am going to try to use imy SOSF bracelet.

thanks V... felt like my body was contorted to take the pic ... geez you people are contortionist .. hopefully the quality will get better.. just never bothered to attempt to post pics on any forum..LOL the strap is a dark brown from "watch boys" great price after the first few buy's you get a discount .. 89 usd really great quality gator .. long sections ..i took a fabric pen and coloured in the white stiching.. i think the hide looks more natural without the contrast first used a black pen then over with a dark brown.. browns have black in them .. just a difference of degree's .. the black gator wears a liitle looser than the dark brown for some reason

ok when i get home from the gym i will sign up for photobucket ... the ar is great.. the pearl is recessed(or the lume in the pearl looks recessed) and a little offcenter .. looks like the same maker as the SOSF ... yikes ... should have made sure I could post the pics first... will give it my best shot at home.... but college football is Oklahoma and Tulsa ....ok..ok pics first..
