@Doc.. know that I am sincere when I say.. get involved.. I'm neither being obtuse not sarcastic.. but we do need members to not only be supporters.. but to get involved with getting on the raffle team.. we have members that are involved above and beyond know.. when I was in the hospital the first thing I did when they wheeled me into ICU was to call Ubi and ask that he take over the raffle..Toad conscientiously, chimes in on the raffle thread due to our time zones.. there a lot of members who pm me with offers of watches or donations to keep us here.. there is so much more we can do .. but need the manpower to do it.. anyone that wants to get involved.. TJ.. is working on a rep for donation.. there is alot of things going on that you are not aware of.. what your see on the boards is just the tip of the iceberg..

doc to blame slow traffic on the supporter role is too easy.. there are a lot of variables.. even if we had no usage fee to pay.. that would not increase traffic.. all the fora's are slow right now... unfriendly?? point out "how"..maybe we can look into solutions.. rather than discuss just the problem.. cause if no one can come up with any solid solutions except trash talking .. and it does not matter if it seems to be done in a sophisticated manner or with proper grammar.. shit is shit .. no matter how you sling it.... it is what it is... So my challenge to you and those who have put down the way we, or I or anyone rounds up support for this fora .. what is the solution.. Corgi you stop in and have a lot to say.. .. but have you stuck it out and tried to do whatever you can to make things right ?? it is very, very easy to critique something that others have tried to build.. so are you gonna help us build or just tear us down ??.. You can walk away and come back in 6 months to critique us again.. but what about the members who strive to make this a better community ?? there are many whom everyday do what they can to make this a great place for watches.. none of us do this for riches.. most of the time gratitude comes in the form of bashing.. posting private PM's..selfish .. if you ask me.. Are you really thinking of the betterment of the community .. for those of you whom choose to critique instead of getting involved in the process ??? There are many, many more than myself, who do what they can for this place.. above and beyond.. I am but 1. Elitists.. Doc.. If you and the community feel I am more of a detriment in what I do.. then I will gladly step down..the reality for me is .. it is my responsibility that "I" accepted, to raise the funds to keep us here.. but without the members who support this line of thought.. it would be in vain.. and if this has created a downward spiral at RWG then point the finger at me and only me. buy a rep.. do the review.. and tell me it is not for ALL.. and you have not given back to ALL members.. donate a watch for raffle.. and tell me you have not given back to all members... answer 15 pms a day for ALL members regarding info.. and tell me we cater to just the few.. and no one else feels welcomed.. if you can do all this day in and day out.. then you have grounds for a real argument .. a company I worked for once.. had a "wear my shoes" day.. where we would perform the task of other departments.. enlightening,.. to say the least.. "wear my shoes" was something that a lot of us took as a good lesson when it came to critiquing others that we could not "feel".. so the next time you buy a rep.. spend a couple of days taking pics and researching ... posting... and come back and tell me you did it just for supporters.. I say this not with animosity... but with sincere faith that you will not feel that you have done it just for supporters..conversely we need to keep building funds for our usage.. maybe the means justify the end?? I couldn't even enter my message center.. switched to firefox.. better.. actually I like the features on firefox.. and the back up I have much better than expl. you should give it a try... nothing to loose but your sanity..

We will be running a "Paid for ticket" raffle very shortly.. we need funds to support our Winter usage fees..we have been "giving away" a lot of very good reps lately .. As an appreciation to members who support our monthly usage. now will the same members step up to the plate?? Will we receive support from everyone that uses the forum?? dunno,.... but the fact remains.... we "all" should be responsible for supporting "our community".. else the responsibility falls on the "elitist" .. if you want to be fair in labeling those who do support the rest of the community..then it has to go both ways me thinks .. do these members block out anyone else that chooses not to help ?? I don't think so... We are not keeping score .. but I always notice the same members giving to our raffles..maybe it's time for us all to get involved.. then and only then can we really call out the ones who "feel" they are elitist.

it would benefit you financially to get a pin tool.. they are very inexpensive and even the tough UPO in will ease out like cutting butter.. with what you spend at the watch smith a couple of times you would have paid for your tool.. "Watch Bitz" in the dealers section has all the tool you need for our hobby, at very good prices.. AC/Lani

thanks T I don't dobt the synopsis that the steel used is not what it is claimed to be.. the mian thing for me is the aesthetics.. colour.. and sheen.. with the rep biz.. who knows whats really in the steel?? I still am of the thought that this new steel may have more chromium than whatever it really should have... but "for me" grail fo me has been better steel for the aesthetics.. you are much more technical.. in a very good way, is my point.. but thank you for your generous words.. Just so you don't think I'm blowing smoke GM these are the bracelets in question George... The Yuki's on the left (arrived this week), the riveted in the middle.. I have the end links in use and are the only ones that fit my 1655.. my fault.. I failed to message you that I was ordering another bracelet.. I figured "no excuse" my responsibility. the far right is the sub oyster which imo would of looked silly on your watch the proper clasp you wanted .. the Yukis is a much better quality for your watch.. I do have tons of other responsibilities beside this forum that have taken up a lot of time.. which I need not get into.. I told you I would get you what you wanted.. it just took to long for you and you chose to post some personal pm's so go ahead with whatever you want to do.

Um.. I don't believe anyone was inconvenienced TT.. I am the member that 'promised"the bracelet.. and this is the reason that I said I would refund the 30 usd in the first place.. after sourcing an MBK never worn bracelet.. Gatcha pm's me and request a different bracelet.. which would of cost me money out of pocket..GM..pm's me and allis resolved.. but the bracelet he decides on that I have is cheap and missing end links.. the missing end links ifs my fault. but I promised the bracelet.. so I ordered a riveted bracelet from Yuki's .. 100 usd.. and it has arrived, I hadn't realized I had a deadline last we messaged I told you I would get one, my fault.. I didn't want to make excuses so I just ordered one... but now I find no need to send it. and this was just what GM and I had discussed... "calling me out" to be more than honest about the "deal", before prior investigation..I felt that since I had made a commitment .. even if it cost me 100 usd out of pocket I would follow through.. but I will call it as "I"it see it..GM your a fricken crybaby ma man.. and for someone who would of gotten a very nice bracelet.. you will get your 30 usd back and please don't bother to PM me about your bracelet ..
