if anything will help the sheen is a cape cod cloth.. aggressively used on the brushed finish.. but it is not only the 914 steel on the gen that shines it; the brush finish is of a finer thinner brush.. look at a gen and the rep will be obviously coarser... but a cape cod will definitely improve the sheen.. All your going to get soaking it in vegetable oil is...... a mess AC/L

pete you really don't have to immerse the entire bracelet, if it's a rep Rolex rep bracelet the tightness comes from the holes which the screws go into.. they are made just big enough to fit the pin.. the genuine model Oyster bracelets are over sized, ergo you get more play in the bracelet and it makes it more "slinky".. I use sewing machine oil.. called "all purpose 3 in one" in the US.. very thin consistency and it gets into the cracks.. The new vintage Rolex bracelets are made with a little more play in the hollow links ..IMO.. and are better than the previous bracelets on the vintage lines.. I've read threads where some say by immersing it it will feel like the genuine.. I doubt that .. it will get more pliable but not as slinky on the wrist as the real deal.. just oil the links with sewing machine oil, wipe it clean on the outside with a rag and your gtg.. AC/L

I'm down for Genki.. as I said earlier.. the buckle that was pvd'd is going to EU to "V" he is holding a PAV hide that will be da best.. if you never tried on a V strap.. the fit is better than my MP's and usually one of a kind, since he picks up vintage hides on his travels.. some think that a strap is just leather with holes punched in.. but there is a fine art to engineering the spacing of the holes in relationship to the length of the strap.... for the perfect fit .. after the breaking in period..and V has it down!!!! I'm getting ready for the January pvd run fo sure.. AC/L

According to Dr. Pete' Book, the yellow dial 300T is noted to be the rarest of the different colour dials.. but I am just quoting da book..the prices of the Black Lung speak for the rarity (imo) The Divestar was produced when Doxa joined the Synchron Group (in 1968, Doxa joined the Synchron Group) many things changed.. the thickness of the case.. logo,.. etc. to me just another chapter in the history of the Doxa Line.. just a short synopsis of ma reading (how'd I do Nanuq~Arthur ??) you can do all the reading in the book.. but nothing like actually strapping one on.. the best teacher.. No the Ingy is flatter but the wrong size.. looked at all my IWC wondering if Joshua could send a crown .. if I can find a generic one I'd be happy with that.. But speaking of the Ingy.. I really gotta get my Ingy Ti crystal to Chief and get my Lello DW in .. Chiefs ar would make all the difference in that one.. AC/L
