I've got a post somewhere here asking the same question, no answer yet though. The movement is actually the Sea-Gull ST19 that we need the stem details for. I'd also like to know where one can get the stems from.
-
Didn't know that about the DSN movements, too bad he's the only one that's putting out titanium auto PAMs these days. But his GMT movements are alright?
-
I've been trying to find the metal spacers for an Asian 7750 to fit the PAM 44mm cases, but have had no luck at all.
-
Thank you for the information Rolli. You seem to know quite a bit about the rep PAM cases. Are the rep PAM automatics always thicker (taller) than the genuine ones? Or do they make up for the height of the case, needed for Asian 7750, by cutting down on the height of the bezel? I've also noticed that on the DSN autos his case back protrudes below the bottom of the case more than other reps.

One is up for sale now.

Wow, never knew a 7754 even existed. Anybody know if there would be a problem with fitting the GMT hand set? Or of any other potential problems putting one into an Asian case set?
-
Did you ask for Sapphire crystal, when you purchased it? If you did, it is. Jackson's Sapphire is thinner than others, but it is real Sapphire - I have a couple of his crystals myself.

Are you sure that isn't his 28C?

Normally I'd say something about the super-sized pics, but they've really helped in showing how much that T48 crowns adds to the look of the watch. I've been on the border about whether to buy a couple or not, but I think it is time to upgrade a few crowns. Thanks for the pics. With sandwich dials, I don't think getting a re-lume will be worth it. DSN's lume strength is quite good. Sausage dials are something else though, when it comes to DSN - lately the lume application on those has suffered. As far as upgrading to a LH dial, I haven't yet taken the time to compare the differences. I always thought that DSN's where quite good. When it comes to the curvature of the numerals or slight differences in font thickness, I just haven't reached that level of ....

I'm trying to upgrade a couple of crowns that are in place on these movements. However, I have no idea what stems they take. Someone has suggested they take same stem as the Venus75, but I have not been able to get confirmation of this. Does anyone have the part numbers, or a link to the movement diagram, etc.? Thx

You can't always count on Davidsen sending you up to date pics either. You may want to try Hont (trusted dealer on RWI). I just received my 308 with Sea-Gull from him, charged much less than Cartel (Josh/Andrew), sent pics of actual watch before mailing and very responsive to email - speaks great English. If you'd like, I can PM you his email. EDIT: Wait, I forgot it was a 127 you're looking at. DSN would be your best bet still. As it is a sandwich dial, you will save around $120 USD in luming charges (his will be good enough), and he is know for quit good 127 reps.

I was looking for one as well, without luck. The closest I came to "sourcing" one, was if I where purchase an Alpha Daytona Homage with it installed for $139. Considering the Asian 7750 goes for around $90 USD, it's not too bad a deal. Check out alphawatchusa dot com. It is a great movement, I just received a 308 with it installed and love it.

I meant DSN 088, I had his 089 opened up in front of me, switching some hands, that's why I made the mistake Was it a DSN though? I'm thinking of sending a few of his watches to Zig, since his lume is so "wavy", and it's getting worse in his latest ones.
-
OK, I'll bite. What happens to the strap after 100m of depth Very nice watch, though. What case is it (Cartel, DSN, etc)?
-
I've always wondered why one couldn't create a stencil/template with the lume areas cut-out, for each specific dial (popular ones, anyway). Then use it to paint/apply the lume.
-
Which one from Joshua? If you mean the more accurate one, it will end up being much more than the DSN. I'd say go with DSN.
-
I believe C1 and C3 On a related note, it seems the current Lume experts (Vac/Zig) don't apply it fully to genuine specs, as the gen also has the numbers in the 6 o'clock sub-dial lumed. Has anyone tried to lume them?
-
Very nice. That looks like a DSN 089, didn't like the epileptic lume application?
-
I'm about to attempt the removal of one. I was told that one of these was a must. If you do decide to get one, they are available on eBay at a cheaper price, but make sure to also order the larger nylon die set, as you will need them for the 44mm Luminor cases. The large die set is also available on eBay.
-
What he asks It depends, he usually give you two options, one for an Asian movement, the other for Swiss. You have to contact him for prices, as they do change.
-
PWC over on RG definitely has these.
-
Keep an eye on the sales forums, that 7753 has been available for a while now, I'm surprised it took so long for someone to buy (brand new in box).
-
After looking around the site, I see that most do have the prices, it was just some that didn't. Decided to buy elsewhere anyway, but thanks for the input.
-
I was thinking about ordering a watch from EuroTimez, but I see he hasn't been on the forum in a few months, and the watches on his site no longer seem to have prices, or are priced at 999.99. Has anyone ordered and received a watch from him with the last few weeks?

Word of warning if you are counting on DSN's lume to be "Zig quality". I've got four DSN watches now, and on all of them the lume, though strong and long lasting, looks like an epileptic applied it during a seizure (I'm not kidding). However, this is usually only noticeable when you take close-up pics or have the dial a foot or less away from your face in the dark. EDIT: Just did a re-count, eight (086, 088, 089, 091, 165, correct 228, 228 with purple dial, and 240) DSN watches now (all have the poorly applied lume, except the 240)
