My SSD 'Lite' has arrived. Ill snap a few pics for all to see. I paid $98 including shipping by registered airmail from trusty. It only took 10 days to get here, not bad considering EMS sometimes takes that time! At first glance its great, looks to be the V2 bezel and has the swiss case etc. Pics later

It just needs a washer, to be put in between the dial and the day wheel as The Zigmeister has said. It doesn't need to be glued in or anything, just put it in. The bad aspect is that the dial and hands have to come off to do it. No big deal really but the hands may break upon removal, it has happened to me many times and also The Zigmeister as well. The reps hands are just crap! Here is a pic of the washer you need, its an old pic but you can see it in the left of the pic

Sounds like the stem is slightly too long. You can try, as toad torrent says, to trim the stem but this involves removing the case back, crown guard and of course the stem and the crown. If you can do all these then trimming the stem should be no problem

Regardless of the dispute with admin, its all done with and thats fine, not hard feelings or animosity As for after the MBA purchasing gens, not to sure if i will though, if i do il show them off here and not TZ, much more interesting here!

Posted this on RG and think it cold do with some input here as some members are not members or RG ok recently the prices of reps have increased dramatically I know, I know its up to the person if they want to buy or not BUT IM I ALONE IN THINKING THEY ARE REALLY EXPENSIVE? If they continue to rise what are we all going to do?

Im still around but not contributing to the board anymore. I have realized i waste too much time with regard to watches. Im annoyed that the price of new reps has increased so much thats its just a joke to pay $600 for a watch with an asian 7750 when i KNOW how much they cost. Ill be still logging in and reading the forum but not posting. Ill be over on RG but my time there will also be vastly reduced. As many of you know im doing an MBA now full time and I just cant afford to waste it on watches. Ill be back to the forum again, full speed ahead, probably in a year, after I graduate. My reduced time on RWG and other forums was going to happen anyway due to rising prices of watches and the MBA but it is also because I had a small dispute with admin, not everyone just 1 admin member, and that also contributed to me withdrawing from the forum as a supporter. People come and go, its just part of life. Look at Lani now for example, 1 year ago he was a newbie and look at him now, a very good contributor to the forum. My inbox here will remain full as i dont have time to respond to PM's. Right now im sitting on a distinction for the MBA but id like to get a high distinction so the forum will have to be the sacrifice along with other things too! It shall be interesting to see what happens with regard to the price of reps in the near future, if it continues to go the way its going, ill have to say good bye for good. We shall see

Thats an awesome watch but for the price of this watch im afraid the crap black date window fix with marker really spoils it! Looks cheap and shine a purple colour. Youll need to get that fixed!

Why bother? Put in a DG4813, cheaper easier and if its breaks n future just replace it!

Right, not exactly a correct title, i can understand the meaning but its just not correct English and have no idea where it came from! The words: 'My Bad' For gods sake its awful English! I cant stand it when i hear it. Where did it come from and why! Non native English speakers PLEASE DONT USE IT AS ITS NOT CORRECT ENGLISH and GRAMMATICALLY MAKES NO SENSE!

Did you noice the price on the APROO - a nice cheaper $475! Still a bit pricey for me but stil cheaper than the cartel! Quick buy now before J&Andrew find out

Website is well......crap. no prices and not many listed watches. The other dealers website are way better and they at least have prices About price i just ordered a few watches from King (crystal) and she was very speedy in the replies and was much cheaper than Josh and Andrew.

I have cut down on rep purchases due to the much higher prices of reps, yes they are better reps, more accurate thats true but they still have the same movements if not worse e.g the copy ETA movements. I know this isnt exactly legal but gone are the days when reps were disposable. Now were dropping anywhere from $300 - $600 these days for watches. If it breaks in maybe 1 month then the dealer may replace it, not sure about any longer. To give an example, i bought a fry pan from Kmart here in Oz for $10, yes $10, i only bought it to see how long it would last and if it was any good. IT HAS A 1 YEAR WARRANTY. 1 year for a $10 product - excellent Again i want to say i know its not exactly legal but $600 is $600 and i dont want a paperweight watch after 2 months So should we be getting any kind of warranty from these dealers? e.g. 6 months to 1 year What do you think?
