  1. Can you not just copy the post in this thread so we dont have to join?
  2. Please show us a pic of the watch with the case back off, there may be a few extra holes in the case back so you can pop the front bezel of by putting a pin/round punch through the hole from the case back side to remove the bezel. This was the case on my power reserve patek
  3. Not really looking to know how to do it, i know but i dont have a blu ray player. I have a fulll HD TV and coming is a HD media player and what id like is SOME HD CONTENT TO PLAY ON THE TV! Just to test to see how good it is! so has anyone ripped/converted blue ray movies or HD dvd movies? 5. Lets not forget there are 3 main forums out there RWG, RGeek and RWI these 3 keep them in business!
  6. Yeah i agree the 1% is nowhere near the actual figure. Why is it that all the noobs and people who dont know these forums buy from global replicas and the like? Truth is them dont know about josh or andrew. These forums supply much more the their business than we care to think thats why the price has been reduced on the new skyland!
  7. It has resulted in the price of $268 with SS bracelet for an asian 7750 watch, a good price IMO, the price that asian chronos should be! Bout time! $400 and up is too expensive as recent prices have been heading. I may get this one myself..... but the rehaut may the the deal killer
  8. dont have any addons but have a vista aero theme, look great!
  9. Holy SH*T, that looks huge! is it really that big?
  10. I have been looking for a network media player as i recently bought a Full HD TV. I initially bought a cheap DVD player with HDMI upscaling and it is performing very well but it only plays dvd's and other files like .avi .mp4 divx and xvid etc BUT it DOES NOT play .h264 files, the future of High definition well my search has led me to network media players which basically play everything you can throw at it including .h264 files and HD media, it also plays ripped blu ray content! Excellent. THis can also be done over a network or via an internal Hard drive. Anyway, some of you may have heard of 'Popcorn Hour'. The network media player i can get is called eGreat EG-M31B which has basically the same internals as the popcorn hour but also a little extra. Most if not all media payers are based on the Sigma 8635 chipset and can all do the same thing. THe difference between the eGreat player is that it has HDMI version 1.3 output and also a USB slave. the Popcorn player does NOT. The egreat has also eSATA compatibility for faster transfer of files, popcorn does not. Here are a few pics of the player and some info. Here is the manufacturer wesbsite if you want to have a look: http://www.egreatworld.com/en/index.asp If people are interested we can do a small group buy for this. pics first then details now the details, sorry its long! 11. ok found the pics on my hard drive Bear with me while i get them back up again! EDIT: all back to normal! Feel slightly embarrassed about this tutorial as it was my first attempt at any modifications.
  12. Just checked my photobucket and very very strange. I remember leaving all these pics in the root folder on purpose, i wanted to move them to its own folder but i thought if i do itll break the links so i left them. Now they are GONE! and i didnt delete them Very strange Sorry guys and it now i cant find the originals! sorry
  13. Hmmmmm, the links should work as i havent moved the pics, i keot them in the same place as i know if i moved them it would happen Wil look into it now
  14. I dont understand it guys. Everyone here is saying its a 'steal' at $300. Why? it has a standard asian 7750 movement, IMO $300 is still too expensive. An example for comparison the PAM 212/253 is now going for $218, same movement and then gen costs $8,000 or something. Come on, if dealers read this which they will, and people are saying "Its as steal" the price will go up. I think most of you need to rethink your ideas on pricing!
  15. Sorry this is not true. Every single package i have received from China to Australia has tracked much better from the Chinese EMS website. When the package clears Australian customs via the AUS tracking website then the AUS is better, before this Chines EMS is much better. Here is what im seeing now on the AUS website for my package: EBxxxxxxxCN CHINA AUSTRALIA Your item arrived at the international processing centre in SYDNEY at 07:41 on 10 Jul 2008, and is awaiting clearance for delivery processing. On the Chinese EMS tracking website, its already cleared customs! Your item was released from Customs(COMMENWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA SYDNEY EMS) at 2008-07-10 09:34:00 Timing Site Status 2008-07-07 21:37:00 GUANGZHOU Posting 2008-07-07 21:54:00 GUANGZHOU Despatch from Sorting Center 2008-07-07 22:47:00 GUANGZHOU Arrival at Sorting Center 2008-07-07 23:53:00 GUANGZHOU Despatch from Sorting Center 2008-07-10 07:41:00 COMMENWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA SYDNEY EMS Arrival at Sorting Center 2008-07-10 07:41:00 COMMENWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA SYDNEY EMS Handed over to Customs 2008-07-10 09:34:00 COMMENWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA SYDNEY EMS Released from Customs
  16. All normal, give it about 4-8-12 hours and itll have cleared customs. Use the Chinese EMS, its very good for items shipped to Australia as it updates faster than the AUS postal website tracking. Im currently tracking a package of mine now, via the AUS website its been in AUS customs since this morning, on the Chinese EMS website it has cleared AUS customs. Dont worry
  17. Get a noob mariner and install a DG4813 movement. Cheap and good enough to pass!
  18. I have a smooth sweep quartz wall clock i just bought last month. $10, dirt cheap and very quiet!, no more ticking, brilliant. Why cant they do it with quartz watches?
  19. Dont think this can be done, only solution is a 7753 movement, big $$$
  20. Yeah i have already seen that, thanks but it doesnt work. I go to the subtitle menu and its says 'None' but its a ripped DVD with all menus and subs. I know the subs are there but handbrake doesnt see them
  21. Yeah i have used AGK before but it was just that Handbrake was recommended and its encodes in h.264 Thanks for the info anyway
