I do not plan to order a gen crown. Its such a small thing to me, its not worth the money, especially with the gold version which would be 18k gold. I plan to get AR done once I learn how to remove a crystal myself.

For the same dilemma, I chose to have the movement replaced by Concepta. Its expensive, but I think it will be worth the money and the gen movement will last forever with proper care.

On the other hand if the guy is a rugby player who is larger than you, using a roll of quarters might be justified even if he is unarmed. If someone smaller has a knife, I do not think a judge or jury will have any problem with the roll of quarters scenario. I am into both and can say that I like and love both my reps and gens equally. I have reps of watches that I would not wear regularly like the Skyland and Bentley GT, I also like gold watches like the Navitimer and the Bentley Bid Date and do not want to pay the price for a solid gold case. However my gen grail watches I bought just to feel good about owning them as fine works of art/jewelry. I am not into rings or other jewelry, so watches are my thing. I have a 2 gen IWCs incluing the Portuguese (my true grail watch) and I have two gen Breits including a Super Avenger that doubles as a self defense weapon.

I am a lawyer, but know nothing of Belgium Customs law. However, I located a decent summary of Belgium law on importing counterfeit goods here http://www.eccbelgium.be/EN/infocenter/news_detail.asp?h=9&nID=883#2. It appears that possession of counterfeit goods is not a criminal offense in Belgium, but buying counterfeit goods and importing them to Belgium may be a criminal offense by both the buyer and the seller punishable by fine or imprisonment. Of course, the seller is not located in Belgium so there is little that they can do to the seller, but you are located in Belgium, so they can reach you. I suggest that you might consult with an attorney regarding the possible sanctions if you respond to their inquiry. It sounds like if you simply advise them that you did not know it was illegal and agree to allow them to destroy the watches, it is unlikely that they will take further action. However, I would want to know from an attorney that by sending the letter you are not exposing yourself to a fine. I also suspect that you will be on a database so that future purchases would be scrutinzed.

Yodap is the "master" of all Breitling knowledge. I could print his posts and keep in a reference book and I still would not remember all of it. Here is what I have purchased: Chronomat EVO v3 - White Arabic Numerals on Leather, but there are a million versions and color combos. Pick one you like Chronomat EVO v3 - Black Batons on Leather, same as above Skyland V3 Blue Dial on Stainless Bracelet - Dressy and sporty Bently GT Racing -Maroon Face on Stainless Bracelet - again, many combos, pick one you like Super Avenger White Dial Arabic Numerals - I just bought the gen, but you can get the rep, mod w/ a gen dial and get a gen bracelet and its as close to the gen as you can get for about a 1/3 -1/2 of the price. SOH Blue or Brown on Mesh Bracelet - again, dressy and sporty at the same time. I own the gen Blue and the rep Brown I also like the Chrono EVO TT w/ roman numerals on Josh's site. Comes in White, Black, Blue and Brown dials on stainless. Never bought a SOSF, too plain for me, but I like the orange and the yellow dials.

FYI - I wore my rep of this watch with the maroon dial to a conference in Boston. I recd two compliments in the airport and one at a shopping mall and I am not even home yet. A really nice dress watch. Purchase and enjoy.
