Crystal doesnt need to be removed. Yopu have to remove the caseback and remove the stem and decase the movement and then you can put the chrono hand back on.

Looks like you lost more than you crown alone mate, i think the stem/tube is broken too I'd keep it on a winder for now because time setting will be impossible like this

Yes it looks the same color to me ;-) I got this one from PeteM a while back and after that i bought a case that had Chiefs AR on it and build it into that, the AR is pretty scuffed up but still prefer it above the stock (or lack of) AR. On the pictures the dial and insert look whiter than in real life, it more like cream colored Yes i need a blackbird and preferably a brushed one, i know you have one Rob ;-) Here's another shot:
