  1. You can find a blue bezel for you sub at classicwatchparts.com.
  2. I have alot of Tudor's, It's my favorite Brand 7016: 7021: 7928: 7924 building: 7016 building:
  3. Very nice build but I would look for some decent hands because those crap yuki hands are not justifying your watch.
  4. What kind of dial did you bought? Reference maybe? If you bought a 7928 dial then a 2784 movement won't fit. You can cut the feets and use something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/400-Dial-feet-stickers-watch-movement-repairs-spares-/200641206787?pt=UK_Jewellery_Watches_WatchAccessories_SpareParts_SM&hash=item2eb725da03
  5. 600 grid sandpaper is to abrasive. So no, do not use it after a 600. Get a softer grid in any autoshop. Gary (Nostalgia) sells aftermarket parts on ebay: http://myworld.benl.ebay.be/nostalgia-2000 Tubes from yuki are also good. No crowns in stock but you can find one on ebay for the same price.
  6. I have a few of Joshua's cases, just case and caseback.
  7. A Tudor sub caseback won't fit Rolex sub cases, gen or replica. The 5512 sub from Joshua accepts a gen Rolex caseback.
  8. No it's not the same or similar, 390 is 12.5 ligne and a 350 is 10.5
  9. I would search the bay for a movement. The copper colored FEF 390's are not to expensive if you know what to look for. The way I did it, learn about the different Tudor references with a FEF 390 caliber. Search for the tudor ads where the movement is not visible and ask the seller what reference the watch got. There is a Big chance you get a 390 for cheap. The rhodium plated 390's is a different story, they are harder to get and to my knowledge not to be found in regular Tudor's. My 7924 has a rhodium plated FEF 390 caliber. Maybe I have a spare copper colored FEF 390, I will check it tomorrow.
  10. The hands are old ones from CWP. I'm gonna use a superdome 39 for this project
  11. The second and hour hand wil fit ,the minute not. But if your handy you could enlarge the existing hole. I tried it with my 7924 franken because I liked the big bubble seconds hand.
  12. A nice prototype http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-ROLEX-TUDOR-SUBMARINER-chronometer-1000ft-300m-/110724073327?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item19c7ab476f

    Tudor...

I have done the lollipop mod and it's fairly easy but you have to relume the hand. Remove the lume and use a nail clipper, then I glued a piece of sandingpaper to a toothpick and grinded the innerside of the circle.
  14. Gen 1680-8 gold-blue insert bleached for 10 minutes and the gold faded away. Very nice blue color Second one is a bleached blue CWP insert
  15. The crownguards are more then ok, I've seen genuines with shorter ones. You have to reshape them and make them thinner, I did mine but they still need some more sanding.
  16. Josh 99 dollar 5512 transformed in a Tudor snowflake with gen dial
  17. You have to find a 401 stem for a eta 2784, not all the 401 will fit your watch.
  18. There was a conversation on VRF a long time ago. These dials are fake. It is the same dude.
  19. And the caseback from the $99 sub from Josh fits on my Yuki 1680 case like a glove.
  20. Perfect base for Tudor submariners, the gen and replica Tudor dial fit's the case perfect
  21. Very nice! So you could engrave blanco casebacks
  22. I'll try tomorrow if a gen caseback works with the case from Josh. In the meantime I can tell you that a gen and rep tudor dial fit's perfect.
