Top one looks like a 7734?

Nah... You don't need a fancy press. I use a basic press; similar to the economy press on Ofrei's site (CRY905.00). Prior to this, I used a self devised press utilizing an old brass Omega Speedmaster case.

When they switched to sapphire on the 36mm cases is when they changed the tube sizes. Dunno why, but I suspect you are correct in that they wanted to capitalize on existing stock of tubes

im2- You should be able to simply press the crystal out with your thumbs. If you are unable to, perhaps you might consider employing the assistance of a crystal press. MIght make things easier. When putting everything back together- Start with the crystal and gasket and simply press onto the rehaut lip. Once the crystal is aligned with the cyclops at 3:00 and etch at 6:00, you can press the retaining ring on over the crystal and gasket. This may be somewhat difficult to achieve without a press, so again, if you have one this would come in handy here. Hope this helps... R

As mentioned... You haven't ruined anything. Easily remedied, but while you have things apart, you may as well take the opportunity to upgrade a few parts.

Assuming NOS, it all depends on the type- You have: Flat (current RSC replacement) $70 - $150 Domed $180 - $250 Superdome $325 - $400 Prices above are what I tend to see for these pieces on the secondary market and are only a general range.

Looks like a Luminova service dial. The earlier RSC replacement service dials were NOS matte originals with SL applied to the markers, hence why you'd have an L dial signed SWISS - T<25.
