My tribute... The 16610 Franken... The only one I still own. Various MBW 1680's (all have come and gone)... MBW 1680 turned Tudor 7928 (wish I had this one back)... LV oldies from way back (the pic quality might be a slight clue as to how old they are)... TW Best turned LV (yes, I know... Lugholes *ugh*)

Very true. If you love the watch and can't live without, it's worth buying. At least once...

I've owned 5 of the mod 7750 Daytonas, and got rid of them all. I always feared for their longevity; the 7750 was never engineered for the modification necessary to play musical chairs with the subsidiary output. Having always wanted a Daytona, I opted to build using El Primero (16520) and Valjoux 23 (6265) movements. If I add anymore Daytonas to the collection, it will be more of the same. I just have a hard time feeling comfortable with the mod 7750, especially after Ziggy's evaluation on the movement...

Yessir... Every day and every morning, this Sub gets wet. Goes in the shower, the pool, etc. etc. Always stays nice and clean
