If you are looking for genuine, I can help you out (though it is a pricey endeavor).
If you are looking for a low cost aftermarket, try fwjs (helfands). They have a $12 alternative that is very close to genuine.
My vote goes to the 183. The Radiomir case is sleeker and more elegant, which is better suited for a skeleton. I think the pair matches up much nicer...
Just my $0.02...
Here's one of Michael's dials... Formerly installed on my MBW 1665.
Overall, quite nice. Dial is painted on a genuine Singer base; markers are lumed in a very slight dome. The fonts are a bit too exaggerated on the serifs, but still very sharp.
My old MBW dial is reinstalled on my watch, and my old MY dial was given to a friend for his watch. Overall, good product, but pricing may be on the higher end of the scale.
For what it's worth, it possible to see either type on the DRSD. They originally came equipped with the SD39, but it's not uncommon to see a Flat as an RSC replacement.
I think the clone looks quite good. But, I would talk to Nanuq, as I believe he may know of a better one.
Bob knows his Superdomes... Both Rolex and Miss Understood's!
I've used bleach on inserts... But never on a dial.
Might have to give it a try tonight on one of my test dials to see how the finish holds up. For more natural looking results, I'd say that a UV lamp would be the better choice. However... You'll probably need one powerful UV lamp to achieve any fading...
