  4. I will 100% insure, I just wan to know any experience with Parcel Pro?
  5. Yes, I'm now looking into Parcel Pro insurance. It seems lot's of TZ and Purists members use this. Any of you guys? As for taxes, I'm at around 31% which is a lot on $10k hehe
  6. Hey guys, I'm buying a high valued gen piece overseas and I was wondering how it's possible to avoid import tax + vat tax. Mainly, if you add on the invoice and on the freight letter that the watch is being sent for repair and will be returned to the sender, would that work? I'm not the 1st one with this question, anyone who has experience with this? If it's insured, won't they charge import tax and vat based on that price? Thanks!
  7. Tour Auto 2012 is being repped due to this thread on all the boards. Thanks
  8. I have 2 dials and a project that I am willing to let go.
  9. Thanks guys for the input. Since the TA2012 is the most popular one over all the boards they will rep this one. It's being made by the noob maker in collaboration with Ryan / Intime watches.
  10. I will be able to ship the datewheels this weekend - beginning next week. They will get shipped with tracking number. International shipping is $10.60 Price per datewheel is $51 If you want one, be fast, not many pieces were ordered. These should fit the 15300 as well. I tried to install it on the LWO yesterday, in the meanwhile I painted my datewindow as well... The cyclops looks a bit yellowish, it's not the correct cyclops. It looks great when direct light hits the DW.
  11. Same here Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. the company who does it also makes dw's for big brands they are not cheap, but I'm really happy with the result
  13. lol, yes, this wasn't an easy job... but to be honest, I do love these kind of projets... seriously. outside in the sun: inside:
  14. I'll try to post a review like my previous diver review
  15. Yes, it's a cyclops for the LWO movement in there. It's not at the correct height (so incorrect magnification) but you get the idea.
  16. In the meantime I tried to fit the datewheel to a A2824, afaik the datewheels of an 2892A2 and a 2824 are the same. Since the LWO283 uses a 2892A2 this makes sense as far as the fitment goes. The date window of the LWO has a width of 2,63mm and heigt of 2mm, the numbers need to fit that window. This is positive as well. I used my caliper to show the dimensions of the window. Then I made a window in autocad and printed in 1:1, I cut out the window (although not good) but it shows that it fits in the window as well. Here are the pics:
  17. Hi guys, Many of you know that I was working on a 1:1 datewheel project. It took a long time because I had some issues with a supplier in Asia. Then I went to a Swiss supplier, it also took a long time but we are finally there! The datewheels are finished. Please see the pics for those that are interested. Next thing I will do is ask a watchmaker to install one datewheel, if it fits (it should and I'm 99% sure it will) then I will put them up for sale. Original thread: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/153440-custom-datewheel-for-franken-ap-roo-are-you-interested-how-many-to-produce/ Here are the first pics: with a white background to show the offwhite colour: in my scanner:
