I got my Steelfish from Angus today... Where do I start? Overall build quality is excellent. The steel band needs oiling to loosen up the links a bit, but overall it's great. The leather straps that I got with it are really nice and soft. The AR is nicely done. Not obtrusive. The crystal is very clear in all positions... The only complaint I have is that my dial doesn't seem to be spot on straight. It's shifted slightly to the left. You can kinda tell from this pic (notice how the marker above the 12 is a bit shifted compared to the bezel marker). EDIT: Upon closer inspection it has be determined that the dial is not the problem. The 12 o'clock bezel marker actually doesn't align exactly with the dial's 12 o'clock marker. In order to align them both the bezel marker has to be in between clicks. END EDIT. I plan on wearing the snot of it. After reading joe's pressure testing post I have no qualms swimming, boating, or snorkeling with it...and I plan on do all of that this summer. cheers, -- m

Yep, it sure does... My only complaint is that the date font is not the same...but I knew that when I bought it. I din't think it would bother me much, but it does. Excellent watch overall.

My GF's birthday is coming up and I'm looking for some wallets to match her purses. In particular a brown Dior Gaucho wallet and a brown Gucci wallet. I found both of these at bestbuybag. Thanks man. Much appreciated. The brushing isn't perfect, but at least it's got the SS shine off and looks like a watch that's gotten lots of wrist time now. I got the strap from forum member longshot about a week after I got the Avenger from you.

I brushed my Chrono Avenger (with gen dive strap) that I got from Chronomat123 back in November with a scouring pad. Here's the pics... The date is changing here...it usually lines up pretty darn good...

OMG. Is this guy deluded or what? I was trying to be nice in my earlier post, but now he claims it's real?!?!? Hey amkinvesting, why all the hype over WM9 if your "sub" is real? Do tell.

I might be wrong, but I don't think anyone here is saying that your sub is lower quality. It is the same quality of every other sub that is offered by dealers here, but for at least half the price for an ETA piece and a quarter of the price for an Asian one. WM9 is not making these watches as one offs in some exclusive factory. WM9 is hyping up these watches as special pieces with exclusive modifications to make them 1:1 copies. That's what his site, forum, ads, all are hype. BTW, I am not a dealer, but I do own two subs. An ~$100 one from Andrew with an Asian movement and the ~$200 ETA one from Josh. -- m

Interesting, yet Panerai's are on leather and they were originally for diving. I agree though. This particular Sub is back on the bracelet and my other one from Trusty is now on a rubber dive strap.

If you want more luster, I have a Stainless Steel Avenger that I would be willing to trade ya.

It was originally from Josh at perfect-clones.com. I bought it from RWG member Turkey last week. It's the $180-ish one with ETA movement. BTW, it's back on the SS band already...that didn't last long.

Thanks. It's my GF's Yamaha GC1 Grand from the classic collection. I'm still on the fence myself about the strap. It'll probably have the SS band back on it later today.
