very odd, i got a ttk 090 and it was smooth as silk from day 1
sorry i can't add any more, but i suspect as well that it just needs to be broken in a bit. i did however have that happen with a cheapo breitling rep and it is still somewhat choppy to this day. i've never bothered to get it serviced or checked out since that would easily be more than the cost of the watch itself.
to clarify what he's saying - do you mean
a mbw replica of a vintage rolex watch
(newly made watch)
or
a vintage mbw replica of a rolex (old or new)
(one of the mbw's from 5 or 10 years ago)
although many wouldn't believe it, i've always maintained that post count means almost nothing. if you don't believe me, check #2000.
far more important would be a personal endorsement of another member as opposed to just going to post count. and when in doubt go with a trusted dealer. is it really worth it to roll the dice to save 50 or 100 dollars? especially when you may lose it all from a scammer?
on a serious note - what type of strap is on that one? it looks like some sort of woven material...i'd think that something of that sort would come on bracelet or at least rubber
it's insane to think that dutchy has more posts than jf
