Looks good enough to me. It's impossible to judge the cyclops from the pic but it doesn't look totally misaligned, maybe a little bit but then I guess 90% are not perfectly aligned.

OK, so it's mineral... Are there replacement options out there? Sapphire would be preferred of course. Will a Mini-Fiddy crystal from Jackson Tse fit for example? What about the projects by Plaifender and Big Crown?

What a great gesture, Sixx! I have to add that I as a buyer would have been totally satisfied with a 50:50 solution. Damage in transit happens... but why should the seller cover all the costs? Splitting is fair imo.

Hi there, just got my new 253 (V5, right?) and read a lot about the crystals... So - is it still mineral and not sapphire on the new V5s? Josh's site says "synthetic sapphire" - whatever that means?! And are there replacement options out there? I saw a project by plaifender and one by Big Crown but it seems they both died... Thanks, Whatever123

The asian Unitas movement in the 005 is very reliable and furthermore you can easily replace it, these movements are pretty cheap. As a rep, the 005 is far more accurate than the 104. Personally I would prefer the 005 as it is a historic model and imo PAMs need to be handwind... :-)
