Hi there, well, I was after a gen GMT Master II for a looooong time. Decided to buy one, decided against it again. Sold other watches to fund one and bought something else... No I finally got an offer that was good enough for me. It's a 16710 from 2001 with black/red bezel insert and lug holes (which I really like) in very good condition. I had to sell three of my gens to fund it but I think it was worth it. It's hard to explain but Rolex has a fascination of it's own. The watch is great, I love it. I looks and feels perfect in every way and I really think this is the first watch I will never sell again (except I really need the money but that's another thing). After comparing it to my rep Rollies (BK WM9 Sub v2 and a modded GMT IIc) I have to say the reps are scarily close. I really wouldn't be able to tell these are reps from just looking at them on someones wrist. The gen feels smoother but the differences are really really small! Sorry, only iPhone pics for now... I haven't read the whole thread... so possibly this has already come up, but I'm not sure the "Classifieds" section is a good idea... the best thing about the Sales Area was that all members could chime in a thread and give their opinion. Scammers were outed and overpriced item were called out as well. Good thing me thinks... now everyone is pretty much on his own...

Yes, I have to agree... I always thought RWG was much better to read than RWI or RG. Now I'm not so sure anymore... it's not that I don't like the new layout but I do think it's harder to read.

It's a Sinn 903 ST, the Sinn "Navitimer". Actually it's not really just a "Navitimer-clone", it's got a little history of it's own: When the company Breitling was sold in 1979, the model rights and Navitimer production leftovers were sold to Sinn Watches in Germany. The continued to build this model and still do.

Well said, mate! I second that... I'm in the later stage and got rid of most of my reps to fund some nice gens. I think I will never have more than10 watches at a time because I wear only 2 or 3 in rotation and the rest collects dust... Right now I'm in selling mode again and will probably downsize to 6 or 7 watches.

I haven't seen any plexi cyclopses yet - but you don't really see the difference. When I had the mineral crystal cyplops glued on the plexi it looked perfectly right. I couldn't see or even feel a difference. I might try again with another cyclops - maybe it was just bad luck that the plexi cracked...

I know what you mean... I recently acquired this modded rep GMT IIc and I have to say it's as good as the gen for me: Polished rehaut, recessed insert, cyclops with double AR, BK date wheel, gen crown and tube. I love it!
