  1. For accessories go down to the TD section mate and look at Bergies or Supermirrors etc

    They list lots of accessories...

BUT IMHO..... if you PM Ken at Bergies ...tell him what you are after and he will tell you if it can be got and whether there is a good rep of it...ie he will not sell you shi_t... if its good and he can get it then Ken is your best bet mate....

I really wouldnt search sites as Ken will know without the hassle and time.... and will know best source for whatever you are looking for if they are out there...

And you know you can trust him and his advice...and saves searching all those sites where you cant know what you will get when and if it arrives ;)

  2. There is a guy from Turkey who sells gen Ti Crowns on eBay... however I dont think I have seen the later crowns sold by him..but for some reason he gets many brands of crowns at various times..so he might be worth contacting...

other than that just try the usual suspects...

A WTB, checking sales Ads on forums or conatcting dealers direct like Watchesinternational, Puretime etc... or of course email DSN :)

  3. You will find many more of your country men here mate....so you will feel right at home :)

Welcome and I hope you enjoy it..

Spinmaster is in Singapore and Goin is in Tiawan...plus I am sure there maybe others more local that could help with a small issue ...

I have bought a few bits off Henry myself in the past... he is pricey but a decent bloke....

    :)

  4. Thanks R :)

You know more than most mate just what that feeling is like and the satisfaction it can bring (as well as the frustration and head scratching ! ;) ).. you have produced some amazing builds that i was fotunate enough to see and share..

And it is what pushes this hobby forward not only in terms of enjoyment but also in what the makers produce as well as guys like R and S.....the more we as collectors and enthusiasts push the boundaries the more the makers will...

Thats why there are so many great OTB reps now...it wasnt the makers that helped create that ...it was guys like Proj and Mike and the dealers like Eddie Lee and Little Hero even Jimmy Fu and many others ..it was these guys and guys like any of us here that made those changes and brought us what we have now...and it is only by keeping that ethos and creating our own projects that will drive the makers to keep up with us and give us more and better OTB reps... :)

    :)

  5. I sometimes think that in the case of these models and the known issues that it would also help if you got a head on directly over the head from a slightly bigger distance...as the pics great as they are seem to over emphasise the issue ...

I dont mean instead of but just directly over and more distance... so as to give you a better feel for how it would look on the wrist... if you know what i mean..as the close ups are great but with the slight angle of the watch in all the pics as well its probably over egging the issue.. :)

These are a lovely rep and I look forward to seeing the pics of it on your wrist...:) But now for you the wait must begin ;)

  6. Hi guys

Would anyone know if these exist in that size or is it just the 20mm down wards?

If not I was maybe thinking of having one engraved with logo on a buckle maybe with my initails too but wanted to check first...in case there maybe one that anyone is aware of....

I only ask as I have a franken RM XXL and I dont really like the 24 to 18 or 20 taper ... that the gen/rep buckle or clasp option allows

    Thanks in advance :)

  7. A nice thread mate and a great share thank you.. :)

Some super pics too mate and some interesting facts... it does hold the design elements of several watches but still looks classicly seiko...

I like that sunburst dial too....

So are you looking to refurb parts of it or all of it or keep it as it is?

    Thanks again for sharing :)

  8. That would explain the smile... ;)

    they grow so quickly...

I still cant believe my son has just turned 16..... I stiil see him in my mind toddling about and playing on his toy tractor.... though I dont miss the endless visits to see the trains... I do miss that bubbly look of excitement he showed when we saw them..

Hopefully you will be soon able to hold her in your arms again mate :) :)
