I have not been here long but in a short time I have seen some great watches, I mean really great. Some are mentioned above. But to be honest these have been styles and looks I already liked and enjoyed. But today I saw a very simple modification to a watch style I use to dislike, until today that is.... That is Hikes final project of the year in the GD forum. For me it gets my vote because it showed me that with a little simple ingenuity you can change the average into the unusual and striking whilst keeping its soul In addition this creation has completely changed my view of a particular case style and in turn has made me think that with a little imagination and skill what else can be acheived with other watch styles. Up until seeing that I had only thought in terms of creating accuracy not just creating. So its more about the effect it had on my opinion which to me is a powerful thing to do with a watch. Thats just MHO

I love that colour I really do. Wasnt keen on Radiomir cases but that dial in the PVD case looks awesome. Thanks for pics I am off to the pop up toaster!!

Thanks Don, So does this happen often with the model range? With the PVD model is A still referencing year? And sorry but lastly what does the four digit number before 203/A signify? Is it just model? or case movement etc. Thanks

I understood there were two editions apart from the subeditions of each The originals were just tritium applied first in matt then in small logo. But the later edition in the 90's I think had the chrome surrounds. I am sure Tech would know the fuller details and correct me

Well they have been saying that for a while now but even if it did, the big thing for me is I dont like the OR strap or any rubber strap. So I would like to get a Gen Pro1 either PVD'd or DLC'd so it would need to match the rep finish. If its DLC I would need to do watch as well. Plus I dont know if doing a bracelet is practical for either finish. I was hoping from my post someone might have experience of doing it. I have PM'd Avitt about the DLC side of it on advice of FxrAndy.
