Thanks I did it but I kept selecting the wrong options but got it right in the end. It kept thinking I had bought it!! I must of been having a bald moment. They dont give you many characters to describe issues..... Do they get back to you with decision or does it just get taken off assuming it does that is....

They are 2 different models One is bentley model T (302) the other is Bentley Motors.

Hi Welcome mate. There are plenty of reviews and discussions on these watches enough for you to decide if you want to spend an extra $100. Start with By-Tors pinned thread - a guide to breitling reps. It on this subforum at the top. Also look at the trusted dealers some will offer the same model cheaper especially the smaller dealer again look about and contact them direct. Good luck and post pics when you get it.

I found this on another forum I thought it might be useful for info etc. If the original author is reading this get back to your Gen forum Apologies if its already been posted before, I couldnt find it. Cracking the code - How to decipher Breitling model numbers Breitling uses a 12 digit reference number for each of it's watches of which only the first 6 digits are engraved on the case back. The breakdown of the first 6 digits is well documented but after a lot of research, I believe this is how to break the full 12 digit reference down. Note this information is not taken from any official Breitling source but has been gleaned from a multitude of internet sources including, of course, breitlingsource.com. I acknowledge their work and take full responsibility for all errors and omissions. Example of a 12 digit code: A2332212/B635 Breaking it down by position we have 1 - Single letter representing the case material 2 & 3

Could anyone confirm a couple of things for 217. CG is brushed but pin is polished? CG pin is slightly recessed in CG? Movement inscriptions ARE upside down? There is no AR in gen glass at all? I have a few bits to put together, DSN dial, hands and movement, EL CG, EL caseback, Gen glass etc so just want to check these things. Also if anyone has any other pointers it would be appreciated. I am settling for the DSN dial I know its slighted flawed but I cant seem to find a better one at the moment

Was your order 993A ? I was just offered a replacement by ETz but it is tagged 993A instead of 892NEW. I just wondered if I was getting another cast off!!!!
