I came across these pics of a 217, Great close ups especially of the movement and CG. It helped make a lot of sense about what you guys are talking about with the pin crystal etc etc. I tried to save them myself but I cant so here is the link. Thanks mate, apologies. I heard from Avitt today he is happy to DLC bracelet and case with usual caveats (perfectly understandable) The main one is the bezel this will need to be removed. As I recall the V1 has a removable bezel but the V2 doesnt although it can be dremelled off and replaced with gen but I think it needs a ring of some sort to recieve and work gen bezel. Not sure case wise what others differences there maybe between v1 and V2 I have a gen bezel fortunately just need to find what and where this ring is. Thanks again mate. I will let you know as soon as I am more aware of what the differences are.

Well done mate, you must be pleased with your efforts. I cant tell from the other pics I have seen but yours seems to have a recess in the case to recieve the CG if so is this accurate to gen. Great job compared with your previous pics. Where will your modding go from here ??

I have seen a number of reviews on other forums, looking at dials, watches, versus gens and versus other modders. So they are out there usually they are pinned threads so easily viewable. Also there are some pictorial reviews within the forums looking at comparisons of EL, LH DSN CG's ,CB's etc. Given the content of your first post I would of thought you might of already of looked at these. But if you have a look round the info is out there mate.

Nice pics and review, thanks for sharing. With the one I got the only three things I could fault compared with the gen that was the TAG embossment on the clasp the rep is not as defined as gen also on the crown, they are still good enough though. And the model number on the CB was for the standard bezel model. Apart from that and the CZ as mentioned it is a very good rep for good money. I just hope my Mum likes it fortunately she has small wrists!!

I dont know what eBay are playing at, they must of been inundated with reports, certainly enough to warrant a closer a look and by doing so realisingwhat that watch was. In a way the buyer deserves what he gets with all the indicators given on the ad itself, feedback, pictures etc and then not researching correctly. But I wouldnt wish that sort of hit on someone at this time of year. Just noticed the winning bidder only had 2 feedback maybe they are trying to scam each other!!

I can say now the crystals are the same, the ones in his 127/217 ultimates are the same ones he sends out as parts with same AR and shape

That is a nice version of the watch. Maybe just me but the dark background doesnt show off its true appearance enough.

Thats exactly what I got my Mum, very pleased with it. I got my wife a Seksy watch she has a few, she likes the designs and the bling of them. Personally the only thing I like about them is the quick change of the bracelet links for resizing.

Avitt Is the colour match the only reason you wouldnt do another bracelet? If say you had the whole watch body and bracelet would you consider doing it again?

It looks like someone is going to have an expensive Christmas with little to show for it. Except a new year that starts off arguing the toss with Ebay and Paypal!! I wonder where things would stand legally if the buyer became aware of the notifications that had been made to eBay prior to the end of the auction and eBay had still allowed the auction to go ahead?
