Reading is all I seem to do , being a newbie to the forum and reps. I do try to search as much as I can. I wont ask a question unless I have struggled to find an answer on my own. I understand how frustrating it can be for you more informed guys to read inane posts from us newbies. I am trying and if I do ask a stupid question then I apologise its not for want of searching that I make it. I have already Emailed Neo, but I am yet to receive an answer but when I have one I will let everyone know. Thanks for your answers I do appreciate your patience.

My understanding is yes, I believe the latest is the V5.3. But certainly there is an updated version. Eurotimez have yet to update their site. But if you look in this thread there are pics of the unassembled parts these are also on the Eurotimez site again this is pointed to early in the thread.

Hi I am new here as you can tell! I have tried to do as much research as I can using the search tool, etc. But one issue I cant seem to resolve in this way is the DSSD watch crystal on the V5. I cant seem to find any comments or reviews relating to its AR or the lens effect of its crystal. Has the quality of these improved with the later versions? What is it like compared to the gen? What about the latest V5.3 has this been improved from previous versions? does anybody know yet? I suppose the question is really would you Rolex officienados, if you bought one, replace or AR the crystal? I apologise if this has been covered but I havent had any luck finding the answer on my own unless I am having another one of my bald moments!! :D

FWIW I looked at the other items on their store and find it hard to believe that a US based (as they claim) company would have such a wide range of products for reps. So I guess that they are either based in Asia or they are buying factory based spares in bulk possibly from end of line models. If so then what you see is no better than you would get from a rep dealers watch. Thats my take on it anyway.

Blimey!! I realise that its platinum but what on earth makes it worth that much?? and if so why Ebay it? Would it be covered under seller protection?!?

Thanks for that Rosnik. Despite people being spoilt by The Chiefs AR this seems to me a very good alternative considering the reduced risk for us EU members. Also I understand Domi is looking to improve/strengthen the AR finish/quality - would that be correct?

Hi I had a email from Neo at Eurotimez today confirming I would get the updated version as shown in their review page made up of the spare parts shown. I ordered last week Monday to be precise. So I assume everyone who ordered after that (and possibly before) will get the updated one as well.

Hi to everyone here. I have been loitering around for a few weeks now and thought it was time to say Hi to everyone. I have just got my first couple of reps a Breitling SA (from Andrew) and a Bentley GT (courtesy of Tazzman {thanks again}) Already looking to mod/franken my SA, I have a gen dial on its way plus I have a couple of gen straps etc Also contacting various guys in the hope of making more mods. I do own a few gen Omegas - a couple of Seamasters and a Speedmaster. Anyway just like to finish with a thankyou to you guys for the wealth of knowledge you share with us new guys and your patience!!! The noobs guide is really useful and great for someone like me, Thankyou Toadtorrent - I hope I remembered that right!!. I look forward to being here Thanks again
