LOL! To be fair though 2 of them came from a different dealer.... !!

It was a couple of V6 (Tag) HB BBKs 44mm... there is a V6 Diver on its way ... there are 2 HB BBKs 48mm from the H maker ... 1 PAM390 from the Noob... and a Hysek all ordered in last 2 weeks and either QCd, posted or arrived..

I got to agree with that mate.... Not from opinion but experience... one of those experiences being here now on my wrist.. sent last week arrived this AM....

I have dealt with Ken on a few occasions and never had a problem... even when I am being a pain Sometimes PMs were fast sometimes not so... but taking into account the number of PMs he gets or how the number may vary day to day can influence the speed of response or the time he has when on the forum to undertake his duties or responsibility as a mod... But... What I am not clear about is if you are just having buyers remorse or if there is an issue with what you bought... Some replica stuff isnt great compared to gen... if thats the issue then thats an issue with the rep itself not with Ken... We have all bought stuff that once it arrived wasnt as good as we would hoped but we have to live with that and learn from it... If you are saying the item was damaged or is effected in some way by Ken's actions as a dealer then maybe thats different... From your OP its not clear... but I read it as buyers remorse mate.... If thats wrong then I apologise but I can only go by what I read and the inference of it... But whichever it is... Ken is without doubt a good guy and a very trusted dealer .... certainly by me... and his previous reputation speaks in itself ..

I was just on there mate... just tried Hublot and PAM and found a few reps... admittedly I didnt open them but they were listed on there.... could it be country related?

Best to look at the reviews on the latest 104 mate.... that will give you a good indication of this... The noob one that is ... not the H maker version

The BBK RG with brown strap can only be the chocolate.... it came with rubber but I guess the brown gummy was a special order... or possibly now available from ADs Hub only made one model with brown in the 48mm..... unless of course he had it made for him... which is not unheard of with Hub... you can order mix n match or variations directly from them... If you have the dosh... Here is the rep But its not made anymore..... this is the closest you will get from H maker without going for the V2 maker lite version You can get these from Sead for a lot lot less than the dealers sites... That's a good point W... I found the same on my Asso's... And a 'vintage'.... Though any one after an oem strap can usually find almost the exact same one from the Hirsch catalogue... They just rebranded them...

I only seen the trailer mate... I didn't see it... I saw a gold watch very briefly .... On a guy throwing someone in the river... If that was a Hublot then I would guess a fusion... Because I couldn't see Chrono pushers on it...

H maker have really taken their eye off the ball of late and have got worse in dealing with dealers.... Noob is defo getting it right at the moment.. Dealers like any trade always punt the prducts that is in thier interest to sell.... whatever those drivers maybe.. I wouldnt be too ready to believe some of the delays excuses being given of late.... I only say that because over the time of this thread I have had orders filled by my dealer from the factories mentioned in this thread... he got them day after ordering them... except for the TAG maker that took 3 days

Another weird and wonderful watch over priced but seriously reduced... I think this is the site where they will keep dropping the list price if you register interest in a model... they keep sending you emails... dropping the price.. +1 on Trevor mate though the Cartel version has better sized dial markers as I recall.. You will find a few threads on them.... mine has long gone .. But PBDad modded BK with dial marker swap is the ultimate version rep... IMHO Funny enough I was reminded how nice the gen is as I had my mates gen in my hand today..... apart from the talked about stuff.. Pearl, Bezel, Rehaut etc those things dont really scream at you when its a few feet away but that crystal still hasnt been matched by any rep crystal modded or not....

Sorry to hear that mate... But the 'made it through QC' comment made me chuckle

Best thing to do to sort out the crystal is to check the 'How To's ' many of them are pictorial... If you want tools go to Watchbitz in the TD section.. he is also close to you relatively speaking and you get just what you need with the knowledge its been offered by someone who personally checks what he sells and is a great guy.. If you contact Offshore direct he will help you through it and help you put together a good starter kit which you can build upon once you grow in confidence and skill... However dont rush it.... buy a cheapie try some practicing .... condsider the investment you are making in tools etc against whether you are going to commit to do things like this yourself.. Or consider popping into a friendly watchsmith... I am sure he would do that while you wait... if you cant find one then go to a mod.... I think Goin is closest to you... I would spend a good few hours reseaching on here... you will find plenty of info mate and by doing that you will have time to consider your options
