Tudor 2483 is really an ETA 2451

I suspect, like mine, it just needed to be cleaned and serviced Hold on to it because these 2451's are hard to come by these days. I needed a part to replace one that broke on mine in disassembly and got lucky on fleabay in finding a whole movement to use for parts...

Looking good Stephane. What did you do with the Girards movement? Ziggy did a full service on mine and it works perfectly. I'll take it for parts if you still have it? Regarding the Insert. I went with the PMWF insert and didn't bother swapping the pearl... Crystal is indeed a T-19

just got this project back from the great north. I'm pretty pleased with the results. This one had a long journey with parts from multiple sources. Ingredients: Case is from a Deltick 05 DLC coating is from Avitt Dial is an older 112 Sausage Dial from an 02 I bought from Chinkie Lume is Ziggy's Vintage lume expertly applied with L Swiss L changed to T Swiss T Crown is Gen PVD from ensefe Ziggy made a custom tube to give genuine spring action Caseback is an old school A series CG is an Ultimate E series Movement is Swasian AR removed from Sapphire crystal Strap is Toscana Grigio

What Chubb said....best bet is a WTB or catch one on resale. Best version was the original one Eddie Lee brought us in 2006....
