  1. Nice collection Siesta I don't see a single Base in his collection A Base in Panerai-speak is a model without a running Seconds hand
  2. DSN I see.....His cases are strap scrapers
  3. Happy October - going with the 196 today:
  4. I don't think the base 024A is available from dealers anymore....You need to find one on resale. All of the available 024's are with the modern graduated marker dive bezel....
  5. The biggest flaw is the subdial spacing which will never be correct in a rep with 3-6-9 subdials It is a beautiful watch nevertheless....
  6. I would return it. It is too far inward IMO. If it were close I would say with the cyclops it might not matter but it looks too far to cheat to me... Put a crystal and cyclops over it Freddy and take a shot?
  7. Group buy's for off the shelf items make sense but this guy hand crafts these things....Don't get your hopes up
  8. Looked like fun and nice weather
  9. I agree. He is a watchmaker in Korea and this is pretty impressive. However, he wants $200 for the top dial only and only does wire transfer...
  10. I believe that both were used so take your pick is my advice....I am going with the DSN 09 caseback for my 02..... In general, dials with T-Swiss-T would have the 6500 caseback. T Swiss T would use 6502
  11. FGD and I discussed this last week Ubi. Check out DSN's Pre-A 0009 caseback and then compare to this genuine: http://www.paneristi.com/archives/PreA_Pan..._A_Panerai.html
  12. Great shots Chief....New camera?
  13. I have the Diamond 9.1 Wharfedale's and have been happy with them... I also have a set of Newton's from Cambridge Soundworks that are a good value http://www.cambridgesoundworks.com/store/c...p;item=c1m55zzz
  14. No real reason to relume it if you are keeping it as Pre-A or Pre-V....The color is correct and it should not have any lumi left given that they are aged Tritium dials
  15. Wow B, I know how long you have been planning this one and it is coming along great. It is such a beautiful watch
