The classic SMP. Originally bought from Paul at Abay in late 2004 and since has genuine dial, hands and single AR on the crystal. One that I don't think I could ever part with.
Aqua Terra from Narikaa. 21J Asian with an incorrect solid caseback but a stunning dial and runs like a champ after a few years. I have also owned the Blue Hands and marker version (also Asian) but that is long gone. Ultimately I will settle on an Silver Dial ETA version with the correct display back.
AquaTerra Railmaster (date) from TTK with Asian movement. This one slipped through with a Date wheel which is incorrect but I actually like having it and it runs great. Have it on a BOB strap. Have thoughts of trading it but because of the date flaw not sure anyone would want it
The Big One. Railmaster XXL from Eddie. Absolutely perfect rep but not for the weak wristed . Have it on a Europelli Baseball with Luminova stitching which matches the dial perfectly. Ultimately will get a nice gator strap in Chocolate though for dressier occasions.
42MM 4th Generation PO bought from another member. A must have IMO.
45.5MM UPO Lite. One of my all-time favorite watches. Purchased from another board member.
Seamaster GMT Asian from WBK over on Darkside. Best version of this model period.
White Dial Seamaster Fantasy with Asian movement originally from Chinatown (Adam) back in the day. I plan to mod this into a Black Dial Seamaster with a genuine dial I have from the bay, and a new black insert. Way down the mod priority list though.
I also have a Black Dial and Bezel SMP 007 40th anniversary edition, also from Adam that I will also mod with an OEM 007 Dial I have and a blue insert from my old SMP Bond. I kept this one because the case is perfect and the caseback has all of the correct markings. This one just might get OEM hands and an ETA 2824 or 2836 I have laying around.
Some that I have posessed but have since deaprted:
Speedy Moon reduced. Love the watch but am holding out for a full size (perhaps even a genuine) so off it went to a new home.
AquaTerra - First purchase from TTK many moons ago. Incorrect "Axal" spelling on dial but a great watch for a blue suit.
Bond GMT. Really nice finish but flipped when I got the Black GMT. I've seen this resold once and recently saw it listed again so it is making the rounds
Gee, do you think I like Omega's
Just posting all of these pictures made me appreciate the time and effort that By-Tor must put into making his Buyers Guides. I want to give him a shout out as I am constantly referring to the Omega guide and appreciate all of his efforts.
Great idea for a Topic BT
