  1. K2222 (Jakub) can do the AR and DW swap, I am unaware if he offers a movement service though.... Also you might want to pick up some sort of black leather racing strap for the Carrera, the strap with holes in.....
  2. Both very good choices, really accurate replicas Are you going to get the DW's swapped for ETA versions? If they were mine I would be tempted to get them sent to K2222 (Jakub), for double AR treatment and DW swap. The Tag link in particular has double AR on the gen, but I don't think the TAG Carrera Racing does... Then the DW's will align perfectly and have the correct font...... Thanks for sharing the pictures! Cheers!
  3. The date font is wrong of course, are the three and nine position subdials slightly recessed with concentric rings? I would hope the caseback is not missing the "luminor" engraving too... Need more pictures to tell if it is the old case though, or the new version.... Cheers
  4. Nice pictures dave_nyc, thanks for sharing I got mine today too and it looks very nice Although for some reason, I prefer my Evo......
  5. I have the all black OffShore, but it has no numeral lume, I think your version does..... I would stay with this watch If I were you.... Wear it well
  6. This is "fantastic" because it is over $100 cheaper than anywhere else Plus the movement breakdowns have already shown the secs@12 to be jewelled where needed, just like the secs@3, and unlike the secs@6...... Not saying a few peeps won't have issues, but then stock Asian movements can break down too.... Cheers!
  7. Fantastic deal! http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=2074 http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=2075 http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=2076 Cheers!
  8. I got my info here: http://www.gemnation.com/watches/Tag-Heuer...17-RS-3748.html Website quote: "Item number: CAV511A.BA0902 Brand: Tag Heuer Style Number: CAV511A.BA0902 Also Called: CAV511ABA0902, CAV511A Series: Grand Carrera Chronograph Calibre 17 RS Style: Mens Case: Stainless Steel Dial Color: Black with Circular Guilloche Watch Bracelet / Strap: Stainless Steel Watch Clasp: Deployant - Hidden Folding Push-button, TH Logo Movement: Automatic C.O.S.C. 9. The gen is 14.85 mm thick I think So it is quite a bit thicker really......
  10. Nice watch I would double AR it, really needs it in my opinion. Help to bring out the dial, like the gen.... Cheers!
  11. For the volume of replies we need, please fee free to let other forums know of our endeavour
  12. Seconded, I would buy one in a heartbeat Takashi, how about some photos of yours? Anyones else interested, please post, the more who do, the better!
  13. That is one watch I would love to "ding" myself.......... Repeatedly with a hammer
  14. Hehe, no worries Although if he were to get the plated gold Rolex, then "ding" it one on his jail cell bars, the metal underneath might show through, and hardly anyone likes to be shown up for their true colours, while in jail or otherwise
  15. The only reason I mentioned the SSD and GMT2 ceramic bezel, was because they are by far and away the best "out of the box" Rolex replicas you can buy at this point in time, and would be way more "believable" and impressive than the two watches you linked too...... The GMT2 is a real looker in particular and larger than other Rolex watches, if you don't mind the modified GMT movement.... Nothing can look worse on a watch than plated gold, although you might get lucky and get a watch that does not look yellow (like AllergyDoc's watches nice colour tone) Cheers!
  16. Just giving you my honest opinion Full gold is a bit too blingy for me, but if I had to choose, it would be the blue dial Sub AllergyDoc posted (nice watch ), and not the two from your original post, sorry
  17. I agree, it is a bit "formal" that header. Something a bit more artistic would be most welcome, although I have no issues with it stating "replica watch" or not.... Cheers!
  18. If you upgrade your membership (see link, top right), you will have access to all the dealers sections and help support the forums too! From there you can make a more informed decision and see all the dealer links and offers etc..... I would suggest the Swiss ETA SFSO (SteelFish SuperOcean), with double sided anti reflective coating (AR) on the crystal. Otherwise called the "ultimate" SFSO.... Cheers!
  19. I have no real clue regarding those watches you mention, sorry. However I am always sceptical of the plating quality and of the "gold" used.... Any signs of wear or fading and that's your lot for that replica..... I would suggest the new GMT2 ceramic bezel, or a nice SSD, as I have seen both first hand and they are really accurate and solid watches Cheers!
  20. Damn your rigtht, I'm bidding now! If anyone here starts out bidding me, you'll be sorry! (Seriously you will, as you will probably win the auction! )
