From what I have seen it should be cream and dark brown, not white and black. Have a peak here: http://www.iforia.com/watches/audemarsroosafari/index.html
Cheers!
I agree that Puretime shot himself in the foot with that one, plus he probably saw that some people might not want a black date area, so he changed it to an offered service, which is much better....
I wonder if the factories/dealers are not selling as many of these new AP's as they thought they would? A few went up for sale straight away as peeps realised how big the watch was. Add that to the date colour issue and it's location too far to the right. Then the Safari version is the wrong colour, plus the high price and maybe they can see they need to change things to help push sales?
Clearly it had no mass purchase frenzy that the GMT2C had.....
I would buy one myself, but only if it was a $120ish less........
Cheers
Ineresting, I did not see that before, maybe he has just added it?
Most likely means only Puretime will offer this service, as it is not coming from the factory like that.....
Fantastic review, and brilliant photos, thanks very much!
I have the same watch, mine came with an incorrect white center seconds hand, which I had replaced with a silver one like yours.
Interesting regarding the AR, I thought it had it on the case back too, glad to see I wasn't imagining things
My watch has a single sided purple AR coating though, definitely not blue, strange, but true.....
Cheers!
I have a feeling watcher phoned parcelforce, not the other way round, which kind of removes his ability to deny all knowledge
Maybe an EU dealer could offer some advice?
First time I have heard that ever happening in the UK! I had a Breitling just get released through customs today too, scary stuff
I would contact Angus and wait for customs to contact you before you do anything, also Pafcelfarce could be wrong, they are not the best company......
WOW looks very nice
As for high beat/low beat you can tell with ease. If you have a Swiss ETA watch (2836/2824 etc...) compare how they sound. In a quiet room, with the watch to your ear, you will be able to hear the faster beat movement, and the difference between that and the low beat version......
It looks like a low beat version.....
Cheers
