  1. Have you patched the PC version? http://soccer.gamez.nl/drupal/node/5247/print Superpatch 4
  2. Imagine how Little Richard must have hated it too
  3. Well my name is Michael, but I don't mind being called Mike. On forums/web Mick is fine, but spoken for some reason, I don't like it.....
  4. What I have never understood is why Richard is shortened to [censored]? If I was called Richard that would really bug me
  5. If it were me in the same boat I would not be happy either, like you say $600 is no small change..... I would have it packaged back up straight away, after having emailed pictures of the defects to the dealer, and then a cross shipment sorted out for a direct replacement. If you are not 100% happy with the watch you received, get it dealt with straight away.... Cheers!
  6. Look at it like this and think of the term "drilling" in a different context No offence intended by the way, just a funny comment when looked at differently
  7. Haha, that sounds so wrong Good work Omega, this proves it can be done, and done well
  8. Well the guy had 33mm glass to hand, and said the play would be too much, even with cement/glue etc..... So we decided not to order the sapphire and go with mineral instead.... I am happy with what I received from him, it is a great improvement over the original marked glass, as I said before At least if I damage the glass, I know I can get it fixed with ease I would have preferred sapphire really, as it is a very hard material. However knowing my luck I would ding it one day and it would shatter!
  9. Strange you should mention that, it was only the other day when...... I am suprised by the other poll, with number of peeps that ordered the Asian clone high, compared to the ICHS Swiss ETA. On a movement that has been modified, I would always go with the Swiss version..... Watches like the Breitling Heritage have an Asian clone, but it is unmodified and should be OK as a result....
  10. Definitely useful to known thanks! I was told that not all mineral glass is created equal. The glass removed from my PAM was very soft apparently, but I was told (again ) that the newly installed glass was harder and so would not scratch quite so easily... Is that true, or was it just a sales pitch?
  11. That does make more sense  They don't have 33.3mm though which is a shame
  12. Hiya Those crystals from ofrei are pink sapphire though..... At least that is what I was told
  13. No I was totally unaware of Offshore's guru like powers when it comes to watch crystals I posted this thread, but did not have much luck for a while, until I found this guy in Scotland and he did a great job Do you think Offshore could source a 33.3mm domed sapphire crystal? That would be cool
  14. No problem, happy to help! Let us know how you get on Out of interest how large is a fiddy crystal? Maybe the fact mine is only 33mm, means it can be thinner? Feel free to use my pictures, if it helps you when you contact him...
  15. Here you go, these show the amazing visibility of the new mineral glass and it's nice dome Click to expand! I am really happy with the results, and for only
  16. You should give him a call, he is a nice guy and will help you out I am sure You could do what I did and just remove the dial/movement and put it under a dust cover, then send him the empty case... The visibility is amazing and it has a really nice dome, I will see if I can get a photo of it now.....
  17. I want to meet a nymphomaniac super model, but what can you do? I would suggest you save up a few more weeks and invest in a ultimate Breitling Heritage from Josh or Andrew. it's 46mm, but the best bang for your buck at the moment..... Cheers!
  18. Thanks man, it took a few weeks to get it fixed, but it was worth it This crystal is better than the original, it has a really great visibility even at acute angles!
  19. Yep, Puretime has the black dial AP, with a black date window! Pictures! Looks pretty good!
  20. I see Puretime has the black dial AP, with a black date window! Pictures! Looks pretty good!
  21. The guy at http://www.tevendale.net/ is a seriously nice guy I could not get a sapphire crystal for my 40mm PAM, but he was able to install a new mineral crystal for only
  22. That is why I always request the dealer cross ships a replacement I do have a good working relationship with the dealers I have used, which certainly helps. Although with the CHS GMT2 watch, there is no stock to offer as direct replacement
  23. A word to highlight there is "replacement". I've had cross shipped replacements off most of the main on board dealers, not repaired watches. After all we are paying more and more for these watches, why put up with long delays and repairs? And yes, the new watch should be spotless! Cheers!
  24. Well you need to pay the first $30 to get the watch, right? I have been told by all dealers to use registered mail to send back faulty watches to China, so that is going to cost about $10. Plus no dealer I use charges me $30 to ship the repaired/replacement watch back to me.... So your $90 is not quite what I have experienced at least I am out of pocket $10 when I ship a faulty watch back. Aside from the added annoyance of having to do so in the first place! Cheers!
  25. That would be most interesting to see, I am sure quite a few peeps would be eager to have a detailed look at what make this watch tick (or not ) Cheers!
