  1. Looking good, straight and true, thanks for the update... Now what you need to do is get outside into some natural light my friend, and take some pictures of this beauty. Not my style of watch, but I can appreciate that it has very high build quality for sure... Cheers!
  2. Yes the V2 has a smaller lume dot at 3, just like the genuine Skyland.....
  3. Congrats on your new purchase What's up with the date though? That 0 is wonky, are all the left side date numerals like that? it would bug the hell out of me if they were..... Cheers!
  4. WOW, the mother of all thread resurrections!
  5. I would never use Royal Mail Airsure ever again, as it does not require a signature, unlike RM's International signed for service, which does.... The one parcel I did send to the EU in the past using Airsure, was left at the doorstep of the receiver, as no signature was required...... Not secure at all...... Stick with RM's registered mail, or use interparcel for items that are genuine.... Cheers!
  6. Here are a few wrist shots of my new GMT2 from Precious Time...... As you can see, it has the thinner bezel font. I prefer it like that, having seen the genuine first hand, it is more accurate
  7. You will need a hole in the movement holder, and a flint sized piece of metal, to alow the date button to work, that is if the date button is built and sprung correctly... Cheers!
  8. Looks gen to me too, look at the end links, and bracelet curve. Plus the insert/pearl looks good too.... Could be a nice franken though maybe..... He mentions AR, I don't think this older version had AR, only the newer Seamaster chrono.... Why would you throw out the box and stuff? Some people sure do stupid things
  9. Nice job, thanks for taking the time to compare Both are really nice watches, and if you really wanted, you could put a V2 dial into the V1
  10. Nice phone, I look forward to an update
  11. How about a donor movement for a bargain price? You happen to get a nice EXP II with it http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...5330&hl=GMT Cheers!
  12. You don't have to do anything, but the DW swap is a big improvement As for the AR on the Tag Link, I was unable to see the case back, as I did not ask to handle the Tag, but I do know that AR improves any watch and really makes the dial stand out, well worth doing Maybe K2222 (Jakub) is still doing special offers for members who sign up as supporters of the forum? Might be worth looking into
  13. Very true, just look at the new Tag, 3mm thicker than the genuine....
  14. Bingo, we have a winner Totally normal yes. So near, but yet so far......
  15. Your most welcome You have been around a while topgun, your post count ratio is not that high though! (0.01 per day) Good to see you active on the boards more
  16. Coo, installing a DW is tricky stuff indeed, dial and hands have to be removed and more, not something I would suggest people try....
  17. Ouch! Play nice guys This watch is everything I don't like in style and appearance, looks like it should have Cartier on it somewhere
  18. Considering you can get the Breitling Blackbird, which uses the same movement, for
  19. I went into my local AD (Ernest & Jones) and the Tag Link with numerals on the bezel (like the rep pictured) had nice strong double AR, the brushed bezel version did not...
  20. Jakub should have the ETA DW's, otherwise you can get them here: http://www.cousinsuk.com/ Part = VAL775025571BW3: Valjoux 7750 Date Indicator 3 o'clock Black Numbers on White Background I have worn the rep Carrera too, and found the SS bracelet a bit poor quality, and the rubber did not fit my wrist well (6.5") Leather was really comfortable.... Cheers!
