  1. Hey Rob sorry to hear that... I think we all miss you here... You are really the Master in doing the difficult things on watches... I wish you all the best..... Maybe you come back in the future... Happy christmas to you....
  2. Keep it and ask a modder for doing the job
  3. OEm Crown/Tube installing is harder than the newer MBK come out. You must drill the Tubhole to right dimension, retapp and countersink it, I think nobody will do this for 40$
  4. If you want to replace the Tube and Crown you must countersink the Casehole and retap it... But believe me it's hard to get the old Tube out of the case without breaking it... Maybe heating up the Tube will work... When you broke the tube you must drill out the hole and retap again... You can buy nice Tube and Crown Sets from Bodo here in the Forum... They will work fine....
  5. Thats a damm nice Submariner and it will beats the MBK in my opinion... When it's really accept a Gen Crystal thats fantastic.... Also the Bezel construction looks like Gen to me... Do you must shape the Gen Insert or will it fit with no modification...? I think Tube and Crown will be the same than on the SSD... Hope the other Dealers will have access to this nice watch.... But I stated in an other Thread a new MBW Submariner is in the piipeline.... I will post News when they are done...........
  6. You know Steph, I'm a Freak about it... How is it signed in the SEL's from your Gen SD... Thas also interesting Maybe if you get the SSD,you can put the bracelet on it if it fits the rep...
  7. man, I think it's enouh here.... we all know about strategies and marketing (UlLtimate,Superrep whatever) If Josh can source them why not... Only the pricerange is the problem.... Most of the fellow members know you can get the MBW/MBK for about 185$ in BK Bump... And i know there are some copies from the copies out... But this is only my opinion...
  8. You must not look , I know it 93160 is the correct barcelet for the older SD's. SEL's 592 or 592B there are some differences in the SEL's.... Interesting is,will a 93160 will fit the rep, because there are also differences to the newer 93160A SEL's and bracelet
  9. that is what Maria told me too, there are MBW copies out... From the Nautilus, some AP's etc.... Why not MBW rolex copies... The older ones where signed Singer on the backside of the Dials... Do you notice that the newer ones have no Singersigned and feets that fit the Eta? Also the dials are a bit different to the older MBW ones.. Think about this.....
  10. I've heard about a new Submariner from Maria ; )
  11. Man, you want to polish a Safir Glass good luck ; ) As I stated before you cant see the thickness of the rehaut because there is a gap on the bottom of the glass.. The Rehaut is slightly conical but you can't see it when the Glass is installed... Thats the reason for it... When the assembyl where more than on a modern MBW with glass with no gap the Rehaut thicknes woulb be more visible.. Do you understand...?
  12. I think it's the wrong bracelet on your watch must be a 93160 ! The shape of the SEL's must be flat and signed 592B Thats the rigght bracelet for a 96 SD!
  13. Wow Bobby, that's a nice comparsion I think the SSD is a damm nice watch there are only small differences to the real Deal. Only we all Freaks can spot them I think... Than for this great Pics and your time to do it... Your CG'S look damm good
  14. Congrats to your nice purchase. Nothing beats a gen one...
  15. I think you can't sand a Safir glass. The crystal has a gap on the bottom like the Noob Crysrtal that's the reason why you can't see the rehaut brightness like on a Gen or MBW... Maybe a Glass with no gap and right bottom dimension will do this, but them you must shape the inner rehaut with a lathe to the dimensions of the glass. That would make the rehaut gap more visible, but then we need a new crystal gasket too..... Damm hard job I think... A full piece construction of the Crystal like on MBW where the best solution from factory.....
  16. I don't know if it can replaced but i don't think so... There is no fix for the Lasercrown...
  17. Thanks... Lasercrown is not much visible but it is visible when you look at it You need to drill and retapp the casehole... All is threaded.. After thats countersink the hole to fit the gen Tube... Also Gen Crown is installed
  18. Hello Gang Here are some shots of the case from the new SD Working HE Valve from the Inside.. Rehaut and Glas sealing Safir Glass 3,6mm thick Bezel with Gen Insert Modded CG's and drilled and countersink casehole Installed Gen Tube This is how it looks End Result
  19. @Tourby.. You are right about the bracelet, looks good but poor quality... Some screws are bend,Divers Extensions won't work correctly... I think the three piece construction of the SEL's are not correct one piece construction like the real deal where better.. Also the material is too soft.... The stem must not cutted to fit Gen Tube and Crown...
  20. Hi all, I think it was reported before.... The HE Valve works like the real thing.. Thats damm nice for a rep I think... But thanks for the Pic Bobby...
  21. Hello again, The Rep Tube is shorter than the Gen one,so the Gen Crown will fit but i think it's not waterproof. I tested the Rep Crown on a gen Tiube and the inner threads of the crown are too short to fit correctly... My Gen Insert won't fit without modifications, i must shape a liittle bit on the outside and bottom to snap it in.. So I installed agen Tube and Crown, because i broke the rep tube by reinstalling.... The CG's where reshaped to become a better look... I post Pics soon..
