Maybe 27xx series ETA's but those are harder to source.

I've got one of the new dials and case back coming to put on an older generation DSN 201A along with a non-AR crystal swap. I'll let you know when it's done and post some pix but someone must have one in hand by now.

Hi,
i built this Tudor franken last year but the source for the correct case (its nothing like a Rolex sub case) that i used is no longer around but i believe they originated like all other quality cases from Vietnam.
Dial is from Thailand and hands from Classicwatchparts.
Its powered by a 2836 which has been made not to hack and has correct movement engravings. I will check around and let you know if i find something...
Actually i don't think i can call this a franken coz nothing on it is gen... oh apart from the crown. Does that count then?
P.
Nice PP!

Thank you, toomuch! I agree with you. I would like to contact TTK about that bracelet. Do you, or anyone, have contact information for him?
Thanks
I think skype is the only way to reach him, it should say right in his signature how to contact him.

A folded 9315 would probably be original to a 1680 but those are even harder to find one in good condition than a 93150.
I'm of the mind that a good correct rep bracelet isn't so terrible. The fliplock 93150 that comes with new MBK 1665's now are quite nice and I think TTK can source just the bracelet. I have both gen and rep bracelets on my watches and prices are getting so absurd for parts these days I'd rather that money go towards another watch. Just my .02
You can always step out form the pack and get a silicone strap and logo buckle for about $50 or a G10 NATO for $20 and call it a day

Well if you have a dial, that's a big step. You should ping Carlsbadrolex about a base case, he recently bought a Jewelryandwatch complete Tudor sub but had some quality issues with it which I think he worked through. I'd drop a slow beat 2846 in there too if the gen hands will fit it.
Good luck on the project!
The 9041 is one of my favorite watches too, here's my genuine

WEDNESDAY
Still my big girl today!
That's next to Miami International Airport, waiting for a freight train to pass.
THURSDAY
I'm going mega-girlie today. My beloved Mickey Mouse on my "Palm Beach" grosgrain D-ring strap!
You can hear the guys in the forum breathing a collective happy sigh.
...to be honest, I am getting a little tired of the Fish. Weekend will be SFSO-free!
Cute MM watch Vic!

I saw the price at J&W and wonder why does it cost so much? How much would the real thing cost?
I assume their pre-own Rolexes are real, price is very good for a daydate though.
You got a very nice watch, wear it in good health and enjoy.
Thanks Dvn,
The cost comes from the cases being very accurate and are made in small quantities, it also has genuine pushers and crystal on it and is powered by a valjoux 7734 movement (same as the gen). Those gen parts alone are at least half the cost not to mention the labor to put it together and servicing of the movement.

Try Davidsen. He offers the same type on his 6152.

Also, FWIW...
7031 = acrylic bezel
7032 = steel bezel
All knowing Ubi
I'll correct my post accordingly.

TMG- I think I'm in LOVE
An amazing watch... Absolultely stunning!
Thanks Ubi! I appreciate it.

Nice collection and great post Freddy!
Hmm, what's next Freddy -a Zenith 16520 perhaps???

Lefty loosey today and righty tighty tomorrow, perhaps monkey in the middle on Sunday.

Yup, there's a Niche market too with replica Porsche Speedsters. I like the fact they're registered with the DMV as a VW

I agree with Dluddy, a premoon speedy(if it's in your budget) or a newer one -it's a icon.
Here's my only gen Omega, a '99 display back.

Really nice results Mikey!
The knowledge here is always amazing to me.

Wearing my Silix budget 1675 today. Gasp, the vintage purists are rolling their eyes at the bracelet I'm sure. This is the only sport model I think fits with the Jubilee.
This is a work in progress; next is tackling the bezel
and drill out the lug holes. I think the Clarks T116 looks pretty good on it after sanding half the height of it down.
-
MC, if your dial measures 27mm+ it won't fit an MBW/MBK case, they take a 5513 sized dial(26mm). The dial will have to be trimmed around the edges to fit these cases and you do run the risk of chipping the finish.
-
Disappointing on those CG's CBR, they're fugly. The dial looks fantastic though!
I have a 5517 case and a Tudor 7031 complete watch from Phong and found the quality and finish excellent. I guess QC issues are everywhere.

Doesn't the so-called 'upgraded version' have the silver rings around the lume indices, thus making it "not so much upgraded"?
Yes it does have the rings.

I could be wrong Zig, I should have said I see a lot more 28xx series than 27xx for at the parts houses. You I'm sure know better than me![:)](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_smile.png)
Vyldog, my 2846 is also very quiet in my 1665.
