you are truly hardworking.... great work. rolli -
thanks, but all pam topics are in my watch gallery. take a look. rolli

but when this case is an old standard case, then the right-side lug holes have 1,8 mm diameter. all handwind pam cases which i have, have a long spindle screw of 1,8mm diameter. that means, when i want to use the prev double-screw-strap-attachment-system, then the screw-heads must be 1,75 - 1,78mm diameter. and when you use the screw-head with 1,6mm, then they don't fit perfectly. they have too much clearance. rolli

simply perfect.. wear it well.. rolli

new thread length = 3,6mm ( the case crown-guard screw hole is deep 4,0mm ), the rep screw has 3,0mm thread length. new round-head = 2,8mm diameter and 1,3mm height. the slit have to be reworked deeper. the v-crown-guard screw-holes are a bit smaller in the diameter, thats why my screws have a head-diameter of 2,8 mm. rolli

amazing... he did a mega job. all characteristics are existing. even the fixed strap attachment spindles. and the climax the angelus 8 days movement. not bad... rolli

yes, it's very simple. i've bought a package cylindric-slit-head m2 ( 2,0mm diameter thread ) stainless steel screws with a thread length of 4,0mm. my watchmaker reworked them as needed to a round-head screw with the necessary new measurements. new thread length = 3,6mm ( the case crown-guard screw hole is deep 4,0mm ), the rep screw has 3,0mm thread length. new round-head = 2,8mm diameter and 1,3mm height. the slit have to be reworked deeper. very easy to do this. rolli

dear friends, please no further discussions about the numerals / logo shape and size. i think it's said enough. nobody on this forum did ever work together with a dial maker, and made its own experiences with all the complications with vector graphic and design layout. you can give many image examples or whatever for the correct dial design / layout. but first you get always a dial with many flaws. and you think by yourself, wow... the dial maker need a large eye glass. no....it's very hard, and i say very very hard to make the correct design / layout from images with a vector graphic with illustrator. all other programs are not perfect. the result is, you have to make many samples and tests together with the dial maker before you get a good result. and important is the dial maker must have a lot of time for you and for your work. and believe me, thats very expensive. FGD knows exactly what i mean. he made the same experiences. we will work together with a reasonable spadework and with a local dial maker. and till we get the first workable solution and result, please be patient, then we can start a discussion. rolli
-
but my taste is when the dial has minimum a good lume power. rolli
-
the davidsen dial has a really good luminosity. rolli
