Never thought it would happen to me, but after 6 years and dozens of transactions, I've been ripped off. Texts, emails an PMs ignored by Strangelove. We agreed to trade, his modded Rolex LV for my modded Pam 40. He provided a bogus tracking number and won't respond. Anybody know this guy? He's essentially stolen $600 from me.

No problem! My guess it was a "ghost" watch, maybe used for shows but not intended to be sold into retail. It's most definitely gen, confirmed by the man himself. Given the thickness it had to be milled a bit to fit the ultimate case. Looks great. Not sure about the cyclops. I know that the C series had a 6mm, not sure when Panerai went to 7mm. This one looks pretty good, but I think that PAM cyclops notoriously distort off-center.

It's all angle. When you look straight onto the watch the cyclops is perfectly centered.

A few more from this AM. Just to recap, gen dial, gen hands, gen crystal, gen datewheel, gen caseback, gen crown, Snembo crownguard modded. Sadly, due to an unforseen tax bill, this one may have to go.... , so I'm working on keeping it. Check out the GEN caseback!!!

There are a lot of things that are really good about this watch. I agree with Chad, though, that the font seems to be off. Maybe not by much, but seems to be a bit different. Also, we know about the crown stem issue. All in all, a really good effort.
