Tell me about that watch! Looks great.
I've got one on the way back to me from Canada. It has gen dial, hands, crown, date wheel, and crystal, plus a snedbo crown guard. I hope it looks half as good as yours does. Simply stunning. Just don't know what to expect from mine, except that Zig is a master.
Well, I'm quite sure there's no way the finishing on the movement can match that of gen, but it's a great replication. And for the price.... insane....
Ditto. Provided the movement is quality, it's what's on the outside that counts!
I'm going to wait to see the reviews, but this is definitely on my wish list!!!
Only problem I see is that the crown does not seem to be screwing down all the way. This is a problem others have mentioned, but it's a great looking piece.
As with all of these "better" editions, my fear is that something else obvious will be screwed up, and it won't be worth the incremental improvement. Again, guys, to really make these things good, they will all require some after market mods. The recently released 111 is a pretty damn good start.
The subdial pins don't really bother me, though maybe I'd change them from black to silver if I could. I agree, though, this new lume color is off. I've very happy with my 236, the crown and crown guard are unbelievable. I'd say the factories are well on their way to "getting it together."
After a few days with mine, I have to say I'm most impressed by the crown and crown lever. The crown is the best out of the box that I've seen, and the lever snaps tight. With the service, mine is working beautifully. Great watch!
