  1. Those look really good, thanks for sharing. It's really good to know that it can be done without the investment of a Swiss 7750.
  2. I've got a 243 that I'm pretty excited about. The Zigmeister lume, water resistant to 7 bar. And soon, it's going in for a Swiss 7750 install and Taka date wheel. Here is a pic I took today.
  3. That begs the question... what's the Panerai!?!?
  4. I don't know why, but for me, the comparison has put me off the rep. Many of the things I love about the gen -- the shine of the gold hands, for one -- just aren't present in the rep. It is a nice watch, though, in its own right.
  5. Nope, just a huge fan of the Conchords. It is BUSINESS TIME!!!
  6. Thanks, B! I bought one, but you're right, my eyes did cross a bit.
  7. Thanks for that suggestion. Are the Taka wheels as hard to get as lello/finepics wheels, or is there hope?
  8. It is 7mm. Do u think a Leo is better?
  9. I'm so, so sorry to have to ask. But I need some DW help. I've got a "thickish" DW on my 243, but I wonder how to better fix it. Is it simply a matter of bringing the date closer to the dial via DW fix or Swiss 7750? Is there a thicker font out there? PM with details if appropriate. Thanks, guys.
  10. The Lello was a great get. Waiting is the hardest thing.
  11. These watches are simply amazing. Congrats to you guys, simply some of the best i have ever seen. DSN provides one hell of a platform doesnt he.
  12. Mickey, I could not possibly agree more.
  13. LOL. I will bet you your new 322 she WON'T see it that way!

It looks really good. Does this have the same usual upgrades as the ultimates, i.e. date font?
  15. For sure in the gen. My only point is that the rep movement used LOOKS the same, but there are major finishing details that are different.
  16. I'm extremely impressed by this one. I have been following since the first few posts of the prototype came out. You're right, I think. The Zigmeister could do an amazing job with that movement. It's a beautiful watch in its own right, and well worth the money IMO. Thanks for sharing, since yours is the first one I've seen posted.
  17. Holy monkeys. I didn't realize the 196 and 188 w/ the 7753 were rumored to be returning. That's great news as far as I'm concerned.
  18. Thank you so much for the kind words, gentlemen.
  19. Just found these pics of my old 001C, now long gone. There is a big difference in the movement that goes into the 36 rep in terms of finishing (as if there was any doubt about it). Anyway, I thought this was pretty interesting stuff. Hope you enjoy the pics.
  20. Well, the watches and pictures are stunning. Get them while they're hot because I, too, fear it cannot last.
