It's a good starting point. I really like the gen. I'm sure future versions will improve a lot of these flaws. I'm a little shocked at that strap construction though.

Nice dial. Seems like I know a certain modder that could bring this one back to life.

I bought set of genuine hands sight unseen for my 111 with gen dial and gen crown guard. Well, they're mounted and they're 183 hands. Does someone have a set of gen hands I could buy, or trade for the gen 183 hands? In the alternative, I'd take a set of little hero hands or DSN hands if they're in the states. Thanks in advance. I know that this arguably should be in the WTT section, but I'm really just asking for help which may or may not involve a trade, cash, information, etc. I thought this section would be best, not trying to blatantly violate rules!

I'd love a good non-chrono version. I prefer the bracelet/strap design to previous AT.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. The strap is awesome - it's my second JR and I think he does great work for the money. Heck, it's just great work. The movement is nothing special ; just the high beat Asian H movement. I've got my friend working on a surprise, so we'll see where that goes

This is one killer watch. Miles better than the V3 I had for a day or so.

Once you try 44mm, you'll love it. Then just try go back to something smaller....

The 28 is one of the unsung beauties IMO of the Panerai collection. Great watch.

And with proper bezel fonts and thickness the next version could be a sight to behold. I had a V3 but the thin bezel numerals bothered me, seemed like it needed to be thicker to break the monotony of the ceramic. But it was extremely well-made from what I can tell. I applaud attempts to further improve it.
