The 312 and 328 are basically identical, except one comes on a strap and the other one a bracelet. PeteM informs us that the Millesimation number is also different on these models, but that's just a different serial number on the case back. The mini-Fiddy case design is simply beautiful. I have an older modded 111 on a bracelet (tested to 5ATM and reserved for water activities), but the 328 is my daily wearer. I have 3 straps that I rotate (Maratac 5-ring Zulu, Orloff Black Croc and vintage baseball strap) and wear it every day. I've owned quite a few reps and this one is my favorite. Bear in mind that the case is quite tall and sits above the wrist, which may not be to everyone's tastes. The 111 case style fits the curves of the wrist a little better, but more importantly is a few mm thinner, so it's a more comfortable wear, No mods yet to the 328, thinking of getting it serviced/calibrated, and perhaps having the CG lever ground down to resemble the gen. Other than that, factory Lume is crazy bright, keeps great time, and there is no need for mods aside from the lever.

I have both a Luminor case (111) and a mini-fiddy Luminor style case (328), and trust me: as soon as you get the 328 on your wrist, you will never yearn for another watch : I have some breitlings I keep for special occasions, but after the 328 i am totally a one-watch guy

After a short sit down and some correct parts and attention, the watch passed a 10 ATM test? NICE! I go back to my earlier point. The designs of these divers are such that they don't let water in. Simple as that. A little bit of work and it did 10 ATM without a sweat. Excellent news

I've never heard of them in Aus but they're very strongly advertised in Western Europe, where I've seen the brand splattered on huge billboards. They're well constructed, not dissimilar to say a Seiko or Citizen, which are both excellent value for money as far as quartz beaters. I think half price is fair, 250 is a little much, but what's 50 bucks between friends...

But I made a similar argument about the PAMs being of such a design that even the reps should be inherently waterproof, if all the gaskets and o-rings are installed correctly and the CB tightened. Repping a watch with a 4000m WR, I would expect they can easily achieve 1/20th with a basically similar design. Remember that an OTB Seiko or Citizen with a non screw-down crown and push-fit case back is good for swimming, showering, and all kinds of watersports (i haven't managed to kill one yet, and believe me, I've tried! :op), so the PAM Luminor cases and these specially designed diving cases should be inherently waterproof, IMO. Seeing that glass get fogged up like that really makes me wonder what kind of opium they're smoking at the factories
