I've isolated a few interesting phrases I thought I might comment on from this self-confessed newbie. I find it interesting that you feel a sense of entitlement to private sellers answering your questions because you are paying them money for their products. Reasonable questions concerning the item are fine, but I find it odd that you feel you are owed any more than that, simply for paying someone for their property. Your mention that sellers should 'educate' you is patently ridiculous. You are responsible in educating yourself, by spending the time to sort through and read the vast body of knowledge that had been compiled over many years (for free) by members who contribute their time and energy for no other reason than their personal passion for their hobby. Flashing money around, and expecting private sellers to go above and beyond for you simply for buying their items for sale is PRECISELY the sense of personal entitlement such a list would identify. There is nothing more frustrating than spending time and energy patiently answering a potential buyer's questions, to find them later not considerate enough to thank you for your time when they choose not to purchase your item. You're still new, I imagine your views will change dramatically when you encounter people with similar entitlement issues to your own. Welcome to the forum, I hope though, for your sake as well as the rest of us, that you strongly reconsider your ideas about purchasing from the private sellers on the forum.

They need time in a humidor. I got mine from guy in town who really has a great selection and setup. Like sucking on warm caramel, really incredible flavours... I'm a big fan of Davidoffs for a lighter smoke, great flavours.

I Do Not Know Where To Start? This Forum Is Too Overwhelming

Are you kidding? Google 'Pre V panerai' and educate yourself my son -
After selling on FleaBay, and here, the number of random, stupid questions I've received makes me think twice about posting a FS thread... I would personally welcome such a list, and have few people I wouldn't mind adding to it

Bad Service From Elliot At Tc Straps / Mario Paci
subbiesrock replied to briank996's topic in The Panerai Area
Sometimes, for whatever unfortunate reason, a transaction doesn't go according to the expectations either of the buyer, or the seller. This guy has been, from what I read, in business for some time, and has a lot of satisfied customers who are willing to pay a hefty premium for his straps. It sounds to me as if you were hurt on some personal level and expected a formal apology, something he, as a seller running a business, is neither willing nor required to give you. Another thing, if your underlying objective in the post is to besmirch this person's hard-earned business standing with some personal tirade about you weren't apologized to in some isolated incident, you have really come across as a whiny little [censored]. If you want it replaced, get it replaced. If you don't, then don't. You're a man dude, grow a pair ffs... -

Suppose You Have $5000 With Which To Build A Wardrobe
subbiesrock replied to Physher007's topic in Style and looks
Designer is SABA. Used to be right up there, with Australian design and production. Now moved much of their production out of Australia, so lost their cachet as their clothing says 'made in China'. Some great pieces, totally worth a look. Merona? I wish! would be a lot cheaper to dress if it were Congrats on the position -

Suppose You Have $5000 With Which To Build A Wardrobe
subbiesrock replied to Physher007's topic in Style and looks
You need staples. By that, you need some shirts that actually fit you, some nice ties, a few decent suits, and a couple of pairs of shoes. The most important is shirts and pants if you're building a wardrobe. Shirts: Shirts are your bread and butter. I'm a 42 chest and have a similar problem. the remedy is to go out and try shirts from several different brands, and find the ones that are cut to suit you. Also, you need to make friends with a great tailor, who can measure you up and get you sorted. Pants: I thought pants were easy, but you would be amazed to know the variations. Most importantly, the number and type of front pleats, the material and how it drops, and the cut play a huge part in how a pair of pants sit on you. Jackets: Not sure of the type of work, but you might not need to wear matching jackets/pants. A nice business jacket/pant combo should set you apart with a little tailoring. I find business suit jackets are really boxy, and can always use some cinching at the waist. Ties/tie bars/ cufflinks/ accessories Assuming a nice watch is sorted (:op), accessories play a big role in looking good. There was a great article with the wardrobe designer of Mad Men on askmen.com recently, and he put together the clothing for the characters. He discussed thinner ties, presidential cut pocket squares and so on, you could use much of that. Tailoring: Most important is tailoring. I would spend 3-4 grand on clothing and then using the rest to get all of your clothing tailored perfectly to your body type and style of wear. Either that, or you spend a lot of time hunting around in shops trying to find cuts off the rack. It's possible. There is an Australian designer whose cuts are a relaxed European cut and not really slim-fit (I have no idea what body-type fits on those, by the way). Tried on a 44 (my actual size and it fit well enough, but was a little baggy. Tried on the 42, and the waist was cinched perfectly to my shape, sleeves were exactly where I would have had them tailored, and the length was exactly where I wanted it. Needless to say, I got both the black and blue jackets Great tailoring never goes out of style. I've moved from very fashionable to more classic, well-selected pieces. The streams of compliments tell me the changes are for the better Most important, enjoy it clothing should be fun and rewarding, and not a chore. Look for the fun in everything, makes life more fun to live and if you need inspiration, watch any of the last 5 Bond movies, especially the recent ones with Craig... Tom Ford designed all the clothing and Holy Crap, he's a fantastic designer. Have fun mate! SR -
1. Pictures or it didn't happen. 2. Wrong forum section. 3. If it's as hideous as the Cayenne, they can keep it

Some very nice offerings, have a look in the PANERAI section and they'll jump out at you -
Exactly. I was in a situation not long ago where I made a very light-hearted crack and took a blind crack to the temple (from a good friend, go figure), well that wasn't going to stand, so I put my MMA training to good use, wrestled him to the ground, got him in a rear naked choke and locked up his arms in a body triangle, and seriously contemplated putting him to bedsies... And what then... He threw the first punch to a superior, (much) larger opponent and deserved a beatdown. But to give him one would prove what is already obvious. Bear in mind, all his friends were watching, and all called for a chokeout I really turned on the screws for a few seconds, just so he knew what he was in for, and then let him go... And do you know what? As soon as his arms were free, he wopped me again You can't win... But Mr. "hammer-fist" did the wrong thing. Period.

Quote: "you will need to return a genuine Power Balance product"... I'd absolutely agree there were reps. The people that bought them are retards, and the people that sold them are unethical. It's a shame what people will stoop to for a buck. Having said that... Wish I came up with it too ;op
