  2. Very nice job indeed.
  3. I don't use Chinese movements nor have I ever familiarized myself with their part numbers. And I wouldn't go through the trouble of changing one average-at-best movement for just another average-at-best movement. Truthfully, a mod like this isn't worth the time it would take to swap between them unless you're upgrading the movement to an ETA, etc. The difference between a CN 21,600 beat and a 28,800 is practically unnoticeable on the wrist; and it's certainly not an "upgrade". If anyone wants to make it a worthwhile return on investment--or even on their time spent--there are actually upgrades you can do to improve a watch. Throwing in a CN movement is not one of them.
  4. If you really want to save the money, only an expert is going to notice a difference in the 6 beats per second vs the 8 beats a second, and that's only if it's side-by-side with a high-beat. If you've got a smooth running watch with a sweeping second hand on that SSD, then it's probably not worth your trouble/money. If you're looking for other mods, check out the second link in my signature.
  5. Surely, there are more than two members out of the 22,000 on on this board who ponied up for a DSDD in the past two weeks; make with the replies already!
  6. You'll have to be more specific as to what those part numbers apply to. Are those rep models from a specific dealer ar gen part numbers for the dial & hands? If you're asking if gen dials will fit this case, or if gen hands fit the movement, the answer is no. Bob @ Offrei is an temperamental & impudent little shhit to have to deal with, and you can actually find a better pearl here: http://watchmaterial.com/viewitem.asp?idProduct=1800
  7. Here's one we did for TRC before it went down: And yes, there is a watch present... Although I don't recall if it was a gen either...can anyone else tell?...
  8. Like the new Bergeon Beaver-cleaver?
  9. How's the case-back?
  10. Rehaut, crystal, date-window. Absolute gen.
  11. No one else?
  12. Checking to see who has received which model, from which dealer, over the last week or so. Who's got all blue lume? Hear some are coming with varying colors between the markers, pearl & hands. Lume shots welcome.
  13. Yes. http://www.jpc8118.com/00000000rlsd10016-d...est-p-5468.html http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=3659 http://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?productID=791
  14. The quality of that piece is absolute garbage, mate. The list of what's wrong with it is too long to even spend the time on. Stay away from that one.
  15. If you look at a picture of the quartz option, the subdials don't have proper spacing. Notice how the 3 & 9 subdials dont sit above the 3 & 9 hour markers like they should? Quartz incorrect subdial spacing-- Other, correct subdial spacing-- It makes me wonder if the 6 oclock subdial on the movement would even line up with the other dial, nevermind having to disassemble to movement in order to remove the two gears for the 3 & 9 subdials. Too much work for a piece of crap.
  16. Stupid people deserve to die stupidly; the species keeps getting stronger. They shouldn't even be given tombstones--just buried under giant stone dunce-caps.
  17. That's what I hear. On two different boards multiple people confirm they only received crappy chinese movements. So why exactly are they allowed to sell on here?.....
  18. Now that is funny.
  19. I read that too, but we all know how wrong the dealers descriptions can be of what they're selling. According to Fredy333, this is a first generation seconds at 6 model with functioning seconds at 6 subdial, not a 24 hr clock: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Build-Perfect-116520-t67092.html And the pictures clearly show a different position on the seconds in each pic:
  20. Does any one know if this model from watcheden has been modified to have seconds at six like the 7750s, or is this one configured to run naturally at 6 without movement modification? In short, what's the deal with it? Don't have any experience with this supplier. http://www.watcheden.com/rolex-daytona-chr...-12586-p-1.html
  21. Excellent video. Which once again raises the question, is there anything on the internet that I won't masturbate to?......
  22. I'm not sure if this is the DSSD V3.3.1 or the DSSD V4.2.1?...
  23. Did you tell them that 10% deposit would buy you ten reps?
  24. A little bezel-paint mod & this might look bad-ass. I'm really curious to see...
