They're both equal watches from equal dealers. I've done many custom Ladies DJ pieces thru Josh, and one thru EL. Do you really want gold though? Unless the gold is more creamy in color than yelow, it's always the first give-away on a DJ rep.

Which site? How long since you purchased it? I bought a $900 piece of [censored] from bestswisswatches.com before I found this board and they (surprisingly) fully refunded my card for a defective watch a week later. Can't hurt to try...

They change little things on the gens from year to year to keep ahead of the couterfeiters--us. One month after I bought a gen SMP chrono (with white dial print) the same watch is now out with a steel Omega symbol on the dial, and white & red print. [censored]ers. Dealers, if you're listening, please rep the newest version.

I'd polish the front of the crown, the pushers & the top of the bezel only. Maybe the tops of the lugs...

I immediately wind it & set it on a watch winder for the next few days occasionally popping the back to regulate the time, as close to perfect as I can get it before wearing it. As soon as that's done, check & grease all the gaskets & O-rings, then pressure test it & wear it. If necessary, I'll do all the immediate mods I can (i.e., bezel insert, CGs, etc).
