  1. Lol--so the Victoria Secrets catalogue is pornography! low rise jeans? women's perfume? Admin's already spoken. Problem: Don't want to see avatars Solution: Board settings Ta-da! No more avatars.
  2. Uhh...that's not porn. It's not even nude... If you censor everything that might not appeal to someone, then eventually everything gets censored. As with the small things, just accept it and move on. If not, adjust your board settings. Here it is straight from the Admin, again: "If you do not want to view others avatars/Sigs, click on the link at the top labled "My Controls" and find the link on the lower left that says "Board Settings". Review this page and you can cut on/off several things you find offensive...." You're supposed to adjust your board settings for things you don't want anyway--don't want PMs? Board Setings. Don't want email? Board Settings. Don't what people to know you're logged on? Board Settings. Don't want avatars? Board Settings. Censoring someone is not a solution.
  3. Lol! Wow...such bitter hostility & anger in people! Jesus... You'd think a salesman would be smart enough to maybe be a bit more diplomatic in his approach to addressing someone, or at least a bit more calm & nicer as I have attempted to be in addressing others...every member of the board is a potential customer, after all! From your rude harshness and insulting tongue I see how easily you were offended by a simple picture. Considering the substantial sum I've spent recently with most of the dealers on all the boards, I'm not sure what to think about your remarks, but I'd bet you'd still take my money. Now that's a conundrum! (now that's retorical--no need to blast back with how you'd never take my money, or you would for spite, etc) It might behoove you to keep in mind those "trailer trash", as it were, are the ones who pay your salary by buying your illegal merchandise, TTK. So if it's a question of morals or respect that leads you to slander other people, I seriously wonder what the authorities would have to say about the way you ply your trade; just a thought. Another conundrum. I also feel that someone who so strongly supports the manufacture and sale of counterfeit merchandise--that break countless international copyright, trademark, & intellectual property laws--has their moral high-ground yanked out from underneath them attempting to make such arguments. Not a threat in any way, shape, or form, but just for the sake of argument, I think people's children, friends, or families might question Federal agents busting up people's houses & offices, issuing search & seizure warrants might touch closer to the subject of what their children would or wouldn't want to see a lot more than a picture of somebody's ass. How about a picture of someone's father, brother, or best-friend on the evening news? But don't worry, I'm guilty of possessing the same myself. I almost feel like that statement is as childishly ignorant and uneducated as those who compare the people who don't agree with their politics to the proverbial "Hitler". My girl doesn't mind being photographed and actually encourages it. She knows that the object of those prints were merely to capture the image of a nice ass, which I happen to thoroughly enjoy, and not to objectify her. I'm also sure if she were to reiterate to you the way she feels she is treated or thought of by me--or any human being for that matter, female or male--her opinion would be anything but that; I'm currently putting her through university as well, so she can better herself. We met at a fund-raising dinner for members of the Florida Holocaust Museum for Christ's sake; I worship her mind in the same way that I worship her beauty and fully encourage her to pursue any avenue she deems fit. I'm a very liberal-minded person, and by the mere definition of the word, I'm also a feminist when it comes down to the political nature of that argument. Not all material of a sexual nature is objectification. Some of it is glorification (check out www.suicidegirls.com if you haven't seen it already. I worked with one of the girls who started it; quite a nice site! It's cheap and part of their proceeds go to charitable causes) And on the subject of female objectification... "Gash"? That's a bit harsh and ill worded...besides, where exactly do you see her "gash"? "Bint"? Would you rather just go a little further into that hypocricy (while arguing about the objectification of women) and call my girl a "[censored]"?... Well, I did gain a Bachelor's degree from that experience...and an MBA...and I'm currently working on a law degree, so I'd say I'd got something out of it. Especially those two years of psychology--I think they've given me the ability to break your emotionally-charged rants down to their lowest common denominator. Actually, my fiancé' being on birth-control is why. That, and the fact that we don't have a need for children in this stage of our careers. That's called intelligent planning--another thing one receives from an education (besides the ability to spell properly, as you will shortly demonstarte...) j/k--I know how hard it is to spell-check, when all you want to do is reply quickly. "Come and go" like all the other contraban dealers in the world out there? Hmmm... artist who owned his own 501c3 non-for-profit gallery & studio by the time he was 28, who used to make a living shooting fashion photography in Ft. Lauderdale & Miami...c'mon, where do you think I meet the models? Uncreative?...unimaginative?...nah... I personally don't feel like I should have to turn the page, or change the channel, or read a different article, or walk out of the movie I don't like, or even turn my head in public not to see that God-awful outfit, or plug my ears when some racist is spewing hatred, but I have to. We all do. It's how we allow others to express themselves; freedom of expression and all the arguments that implies. What exactly makes a great member? Someone who doesn't lurk and contributes frequently, helps others & shares their knowledge? Posts lots of relevant pics daily & constantly makes on-topic threads like the rest of the community? Sells their wares at decent prices to other members and also helps pad the pockets of plenty of our dealers, while contributing financially to the board itself at the same time? I'd say that describes me too. A lot of members don't really go to that length, unfortunately. I whole heartedly agree. Just look at my join date in my profile--only 2 short months ago, and already I'm over 200 posts deep, building my knowledge & attempting to help others do the same (with the modicum I have) and probably $3 k lighter from watches & tools! But on the issue of children, a watch forum (or any forum for that matter) supporting & condoning illegal activity is nothing that a responsible parent should really involve their children with. A gen watch forum sure, by all means, but eventually that child will probably enquire to daddy or mommy as to why he doesn't think it's wrong to support smuggling illegal merchandise, when all his teachers and all the news channels tell him it is. There's an infinite # of arguments available on an infinite number of topics from pics to posts & opinions that anyone can take offense to, anywhere, anytime. Now God only knows how many rebuttals and replies have been thrown up since I started typing this one out, but in all honesty, I don't think anyone's pictures or posts are that big of a deal. I've stated it before and will again, I honestly intend to offend no one. But on the same token being able to express myself through a couple of simple pictures if a wonderful freedom. If I can hold my emotions back to not act in a childish manner or insult & slander a fellow member (over any issue), then other people should be able to do the same. And truly, no hard feelings at all. Thank you for your time. PS: Here's a quote from an Admin: "If you do not want to view others avatars/Sigs, click on the link at the top labled "My Controls" and find the link on the lower left that says "Board Settings". Review this page and you can cut on/off several things you find offensive...."
  4. Lol--not a problem; no need to be sorry!--everyone is entitled to their opinion, and it takes a hell of a lot more than that to offend me. I do understand the whole concept behind their sexuality and it's not at all a lack of respect for anyone but there's a much deeper issue here than a couple of pics. As someone who does manage a team of ten, I feel the real lack of respect would be in view of the employer watching his people eat up company time regardless of whether it's internet useage, excessive smoke breaks, or just a receptionist reading People magazine while her phone is ringing away. It isn't an issue of who-might-accidentally-see-what-at-work. It's an issue of wasting time at work, and I think the solution is quite simple: don't use the internet and what someone "might see" isn't a possibility anymore. The solution of switching to text instead of HTML seems effective & smart.
  5. No [censored]! Mine's so small--I feel so inadequate when I look at his...
  6. Lol--speaking of which, I think I'll go have a slice of that pie right now. And I'm gonna wear my Davidsen 005 logo watch while I'm flexing in the mirror American Psycho style, Godammit! But don't worry, I won't post pics.
  7. !?! Hmmm...with all due respect, an ass is not necessarily sexually explicit, and neither are most pics on here, especially when there's no nudity involved--if you want to get technical, mine have never contained or shown genitalia, but there's an avatar on this very page that actually contains a penis and a scrotum! Now I understand that Mr. DaVinci's model's [censored] was not meant to be sexual, but there are plenty of brain-dead, comically-uptight conservatives who would automatically think just the mere sight of his uncircumcised trouser-snake is "wrong"--the same way some might think my pic's content is "wrong"--just because his pump-action yogurt rifle is out there dangling in the wind. It's all subjective though, and to me it's nothing to get uptight about...after 2 wasted years of psychology in college, a lot of people who get so hot over such small quandaries generally have bigger issues they need to deal with (and that comment is NOT aimed at anyone specific posting here or anywhere else). We all know there's plenty worse than that in Cosmo, Vogue, GQ, Victoria's Secret, and on the evening's TV commercials for cheeseburgers starring Paris Hilton. Sexuality doesn't always equal obscene or pornographic. The first thing that springs to mind on the issue of non-watch avatars & sigs is that cute girls and cute butts may not be directly related to watches, very true, but then neither are motocross logos, Muppets, bicycle handlebars, cross-eyed guys, funny mustaches, fountain pens, Japanese race-cars, pipes, DaVinci sketches, or any of the other thousands of pics the members choose to embellish their profiles with (and those were the ones seen just on this page ). A little variety & spice is needed--if every single pic, posting, avatar, and sig contained nothing BUT watches, this place would be as boring and single-minded as a Trekkie at a Star Trek convention! Now, just for clarification, the issue of "stupidity" to me wasn't the fact that someone asked me to remove an ass from my sig--which I did, kindly & voluntarily (although I wish I could still have it, but I'm not one to go back on my word)--what was stupid to me was the principle of surfing the net in front of children... and not ever expecting to bump into anything that might be viewed as questionably sexual. If I had kids, I probably wouldn't be on the internet in front of them period, and not just for something as sensationalized as sexuality, but that's just me. If someone is trying to live their life attempting to avoid sexuality, be it on their kid's behalf or not--so be it, to each his own--but I don't feel it's realistic; you can't even drive around the block without encountering something sexual (a song on the radio, someone's outfit, a billboard, a bumper sticker, a thought in your own head, etc.) I simply didn't feel like it was my responsibility as an adult for me to change what I'm doing within the constraints of that particular board, in an attempt to police the viewing habits of someone who might happen to be wandering by the screen of someone else's computer, on the other side of the planet. But in that particular case I was happy to oblige, and that was that. I certainly hope I don't offend anyone, I'm merely trying to post a pretty picture. We all post things that are nice to look at, be it women, watches, landscapes, sports, or cars--that's why this board exists. Simple aesthetics; the appreciation of a handsome watch. And the occasional nice ass. _
  8. No offence, but this looks terribly inaccurate--2 subdials that do the same thing (?) and missing the word "automatic" under the datewheel:
  9. That is one of the funniest goddamn avatars i've ever seen!
  10. Yeah, I sort of wondered about that myself (for obvious reasons), but then I thought it's not what you find on the internet at work that's wrong, it the principle of using the internet--period--at work that's wrong. No offence, ciborgman. On another board I was actually asked to remove my sig & avatar because someone didn't want their "kids seeing it while they were surfing the net on their laptop in the living room while the little ones watched TV"... I'm not even to go into the rebuttle for that kind of stupidity. You can see Adriana Lima's tight little ass in booty-shorts in Victoria's Secrets ads on CNN.com's splash-page for Christ's sake.

During the process of downloading it says either enter a serial code or try the free 30 day try out. Do the try out, I did the serial but it was wrong anyway so I don't think it matters (I'm just saving you time for looking up some bogus hack & crack). When it's installed and you open up CS2 it should tell you to register with your info. Do it again. Then it will pop up with a serial code thing, where you can enter your serial code or just go on with the free trial. This is what you do: First download this keygen by paradox or some [censored], like this: http://www.sendspace.com/file/iy1vs1 (Leave keygen open through process) First hit the "Generate" button: Then copy the serial. Paste it in the first blank (all the blanks should fill with numbers). Then try to activate it. It should go to a activation process that fails. Oh well all hope is lost right? Nope. On the bottom right hand corner it should be a button called "phone activation", or something like that. Press that button. Ok, now it says something else, but ignore it. It should have the serial then the activation number there. Highlight & copy it. Then go back to your keygen (which you should have left open) with the same serial in it. Paste that code into the "Activation Number" space: Now hit generate. Now you should have the code you need on the bottom space: Now you have to copy each set of numbers (grouped by 4) into the given space on the bottom of that page in CS2. Then click the button to activate it. Now it should say "Thanks for taking the time to activate." Hopefully it was worked. These directions are kinda squirrely, but you can do it. It can't be that hard if I've gotten it to work on PCs. And for the PC... Adobe After Effects v7.0 Pro Animate your ideas. A Z-depth displacement feature has been added, you can displace each dot in Z-depth depending on its lightness, saturation or hue value. The size of each dot can also be modulated by the lightness, saturation or hue value. http://rapidshare.de/files/14865517/...cts-SCOTCH.rar plus Cycore Effects v1.0.1 Cycore has developed a plug-in collection containing 61 professional effects for Adobe After Effects. 19. Hmmm...how much $$$ are we talking...
  20. See, that's accurate. I'm guessing that's definitely a gen? I wish the factories would just update their stamps to the newer codes; it can't be that hard...
  21. Thanks! And amen to 2005SUBMARINER.
  22. After cracking the case-backs on these things every night for a week now, and constantly making ever-so-minute changes, I'm happy to say I now have all 3 of my 2836-2s running in symbiosis. And they have finally acheived less than +1 second per day gain, each (according to the digital clock on my new iMac Intel G5).
