  1. http://www.speidel.com/catalog/default.cfm...amp;indexcat=70 Five bucks--the twist-o-flex by Speidel--only the best for me!
  2. Any personal pics of yours exist?
  3. Wait till you own one!--you'd be surprised that Mini's have a Volvo-like practicality that starts to emerge (which btw, it the only brand I've driven in 10 years; and until their safety or reliability deminishes, I'll never personally drive anyting but Volvo).
  4. My girl always liked the Rados & the Movados. Simplistic in their operation & beauty; like Japanese or Scandanavian design, only delicate looking enough to be truly feminine.
  5. Yeah...here's the one I'm still thinking about: I haven't actually worn the 005 out in public yet though, so I can't justify spending more money just to have some arm-candy that I can't stop looking at in the drawer--plus I'm almost out of room...unless hers go to her jewelery box...
  6. Wait till you see her fooking panerai pics!
  7. Go for a Mini--my girl loves hers--engineered by BMW, but faster, more reliable (from personal experience) and hold their resale value betteer.
  8. But probably more than I already need.
  9. Lol--that chick'26. She's my finace. Also my avatar & my rollie model ( http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=11854&hl= ) soon to be Davidsen PAM005 model!
  10. Actually, I'll tell you what I don't think fits at all--that red second hand. Reminds me of my coach's stop-watch in highschool.
  11. What about the "Rolesor"? Name of a creature from Jurrasic park?!
  12. I like the recessed insert--I could be wrong, but I thought my 96 gen sub was like that...
  13. 1) GMT Master II & Datejust Rolisor 2) Andrew 3) GMT yes, DJ was a gift
  14. The rehaut looks awesome in the pics & that bezel pearl is leaps and bounds above Josh's factory stock. Much better.
  15. New paperwork, in an old-school box, with a new-style watch with a fake-hang-tag?! The twine on that tag is the exact same one that comes with the el-cheapo Chintown fakes. I wouldn't touch that watch; shady.
  16. Unfortunately, I paid $385 for the watch, $25 for shipping, $78 for the inner/outer gen box--wrote swissexpert (who minus being a rip-off) have fantastic customer service (which they can easily afford, for obvious reasons...) and the sent me the correct bezel insert at no charge. This is however, after sending me the green bezel insert for a japanese model, which didn't fit & had to wait 2 MORE weeks for this insert to arrive...
  17. Hmmm--I wonder if my brand-new PAM005 logo watch from Davidsen has this....
  18. Old-school style font on the "40". Not the same as current gens, if it matters to you. If not, looks fine.
  19. It was the last part of my order with (the very overpriced) swissexpert.net a few months back--before I discovered this place. Supposed to get a regular black, SS sub and wound up with a sub with oversized hour markers that looked like the Lunette Verte. As of yesterday, it now has a correct green bezel, a Josh band, fatter hands, and everything seems to look kosher except for the crown, which will be swapped soon enough. I also took the liberty of a lube job & new silicone grease on all her gaskets. No real mods yet, except a good Dremel polishing.
  20. Just to clarify on correct usage, once it's been 3 or 4 minutes & the watch has pressurized & it's submersed, you release the pressure & watch for bubbles. My question is, every watch that I've tested has a few bubbles come out. For instance on the submariner, they come out from the top of the bezel, near the case (not near the crystal) but I also see them coming from the band & clasp. Only a few, then they stop. If there's an actual leak are the bubbles smaller & contiuously still streaming after the pressure is completely released, or how does one tell the difference between an actual leak and air that was simply trapped under the bezel?
  21. All right Zig, I tried it the proper way and both the sub & pam were solid @ 5 bars. Does this mean the watch could withstand a dive (from a board, not deep-sea), and not just regular swimming?
