OK, the perfect combination of The Zigmeister and PT, a demigod.

There's really nothing to complain about other than the extra cost, but you also get pretty much what Broker described. It takes a couple of days extra too, but the time between purchase and delivery is quality time for the nerves! PT is what you're looking for Broker!

Whoa, that reminds me of the old ploprof, where some of them got their dials mounted 180 degree around, when serviced. Maybe Omega tries to give some homage to that

You should stick to our trusted dealers. They should be able to sell you a nice replica. I don't know if it helps but take a look at this thread. You can PM someone who has a RS2 and ask him/her for directions.

I can only find a silver detail version on TAG's website. But i don't know much about tag's. The link you gave states "Silver details" which exists, but take your time and compare the details before you buy. PT can surely source you a box, if you ask for it and pay extra.

Did this little comparison between the fonts. You can see the big difference in font type. You can also note that there is a bevel on the new dial but it is very, very small and incorrect. Whereas the old dial has a noticiable bevel that is correct. Edit: The photos are not mine but from this thread.

There is a clear difference between our dials, so yeah theres a new dial. You've got small serifs on 12, 6 and 9. And your datewindow has a 'frame' or bevel. I'm nearsighted and I have no problems to notice the missing bevel at an arm's length distance. But the serifs are loupe stuff. I've also got the black and white version. Don't have any good close ups on mine and no good camera here. But definitely we've got two different dials, of which the older is superior.

The Volcano is a pretty version and you've got the sexiest of them all. Chief and The Zigmeister never ceases to amaze me! There is no crystal...

Interested in this one, but since you're an authority on Omega reps i would like your honest opinion. I sense some favorism of your old beloved Seamaster Chrono in the above statement... Or maybe an ETA non-chrono SMP instead.

Great movie. The first hour or so I didn't like it at all, too much Matrix copy. After the movie i was lyrical, so much deeper than the first hour impression. The basic plot would have been perfect for the Matrix 2 & 3, instead of their shallow story. Nothing to add concerning watches.

There is no need for a loupe for the bevel issue. Mine has just got a straight cut square hole, versus previous versions and gen. They have a quite large bevel, wich gives the date window a 40% larger impression. So IMHO that is a big difference. I have to add that the lighting is a big factor here, in daylight it's very apparent. In the photos above it's almost impossible to tell. Maybe it's just me beeing anal. It makes no difference to me, it's a rep after all. /Furu
