That new T3 is actually very accurate disregarding the secs at 9 and the date window. T3's normally have a textured dial. The case is acutally much larger that a ROO as indicated by the date window and subdial position.

Perhap this is my perfect AP project since I have a gen T3 dial and a A2892 with module for the secs at 12! I would only have to mod the crown position.

She replied to me:

If i hadn't already ordered i would wait for new positive feedbacks.

3 weeks is very normal. Yes..some of the dealers here ship super fast but you are paying a price for that service. Buying from Jay and angel sometimes takes up to 3 weeks and tracking #'s are not always reliable.

Since its PP/CC, I'm not worried either.

quartz??? oh thats not good. how do you know its quatz? damn i was excited for a second too.

subdial config suggests quartz and the other two sold by josh are quartz too.

I was really excited about this too but I guess the rep factories decided not to go the extra mile for this model.

The case is decent but the dial has glaring errors.....little texture on the dial, tiny date/countdown window, wrong color count down #'s, and its quartz. Also those #'s are date wheel actually count down like a chrono function. I don't know how the replica is going to deal with that feature. Spending a bit more time to get a textured dial and I might have bot this rep.

oh well...perhaps a decent toy for less than 130 bucks.

Just pulled the tirgger - $235. Hope that comes with the box, but if it doesn't no big deal. I just want to make sure that it's the same watch as the one pictured. She assured me it is and if it's not, she will offer me a refund.

I'm going to move everything over from another black SMP that I have with pins in bracelet, gen dial, gen hands. I strongly encourage a gen dial which comes with perfect lume for $150 (or less if from another member or fleabay).

Angela would only provide a shipping discount with multiple purchases with a base price of 215 each (without box).

Damn....this SMP is cutting into my MBW ROO funds but this was too good of a deal to pass up.

awesome review. i really like the looks of the watch. what size leather strap would it take? my small wrists do not cope well with stiff rubbers. how does the windmill subdial work? Like the arms on a windmill turning? But I also see a red subdial hand....does that turn with the windmill arms as well?

There's been talk of Angus's ROO being a copy of the MBW ROO. I have an EOD v1....serial is 955 (duh!) and engraving is not particularly deep....it is exactly like angus's ROO (with all serials) but is black. No gap on crown but the rubber should be able to hide that part anyways.

I don't think the big Ingy will be repped, soon - it needs the same movement as the big pilot.

I for myself will stick with the current Ingy rep-line, my Ingy and Ingy chrono will be finished, soon!

I'm waiting for the ceramic bezel indy which should be relativiely easy to rep.

that is the correct case # for the PO 42 mm.

I've purchased all the hands for the 2500 caliber and they all fit my 4th gen PO fine.

Chieftang recently posted a 10% discount from ofrei (but I can figure how to apply it yet).

That has one of the nicer bracelets I've seen on a RO.....but the markers (rectangles?) and crown guard

The White Gold screws (or SS) are the correct color. AP released a new line ... Reference 15300...with its own in house movement. The new watch has a sec hand and is 39 mm ( a modern jumbo). Actually, the cartel released this new jumbo (without the crown guards) a few months ago but only on leather.

All the MBW AP jumbos with out sec hand are decently accurate except the gold screws which are an instant give-away to any AP enthusiast.

Just got two straps in....unfortunately they were 22 mm so I had to really squeeze to get one on my St Exp. BTW, the St Exp has Chief's Double AR. Both straps are from Steinhart.

No...the shaq is a normal movement... as AP's go....but its a 48mm T3 case. Huge watch.....I hope the rep factories will copy it accurately.

Wow, that is one of the best AP's I've ever seen and I'm a huge AP guy.

Totally awesome watch....very similar to the AP Royal Oak Offshore Tantulum ORCHARD ROAD. It'll turn some heads at an AD.

I'm sure Wacko will not only send you a pic, but will point out the flaws if you ask. Mine has good lume on all three hands, but there is none on the dial at all.

The one that i saw on ioffer was asian movement with correct He valve and only selling for around $50-70....so it was cheaper than WB's.

I saw a similar watch on ioffer. Emailed him and asked if the pic was the real watch. he said yes. paypalled funds. I asked again if the He vial is off 10 marker and he checked again. he was out of stock of the correct He models. He was honest and refunded my money. It can't hurt by asking. Sellers know they are selling reps and some are knowledgeable about the models available.

I stripped the coatings last night along with an existing single sided 3717 crystal for double coating...

It took me a lot longer to remove the single side coating on 3717's crystal vs. chieftang's (only 5 mins), not sure why though. I think thats what bosk meant.

sending in 2 crystals tomorrow.

Rouge polish and dermel....its less than a min on each side. I let the crystal cool a bit before handling. Speed was due to my previous experience of stripping 4 crystals from the last run and knowing exactly what to do. I think factory rep AR's are harder to strip but they do not provide strong AR properties/effectiveness. But maybe its just due to my gained experience at this point.

I will send mine on Monday.

The "crazing" appeared to be only on one side in my case...

I assume that both side's coatings need to be removed right? I will be sending in one more for the current run (total 2)

Probably you will be getting them end of next week.

Crazing was only on the top layer. I've already stripped mine....an easy 3 min

I'd like to add a new crystal too from a different watch (so a total of two).
