  1. It feels great. I'm used to wearing big faced watches and computers from my days as a PJ.
  2. After a very smooth and pleasant transaction with Chango, my new watch arrived earlier yesterday afternoon (Saturday). I have always wanted one of these but always seemed to miss the sale by either a couple hours or it was an EU sale only. Never the less, after a couple of years of waiting patiently for the right deal ...... here it is. This thing is monstrous !!! It's definitely going to be my favorite for a while. Thanks Chango & Thank you RWG
  3. Very cool. I always visit the Corum boutique inside of Torneau. There just isn't anything like it.
  4. apparently this isn't for your comprehension now is it ? thank you Sir. You beat me to it.
  5. Given the most recent chain of events, a questionable few need to be reminded this world of ours is way smaller than you think. There are technologies involved far beyond most comprehension that can quickly & accurately deter, motivate or demonstrate a point that needs to be proven. You will not get away with scamming anyone as long as I am a member of this community.
  6. I agree. This hobby isn't for the faint hearted. It can be stressful to some degree. Customs delays, shipping delays, miscommunication between buyer and seller. Multitude of different advice techniques and opinions. It all can get pretty pricey too. I'll be willing to bet there isn't a single soul on this forum that only bought one rep and said " Ok I'm satisfied, now on to something else". I'd suggest keeping an eye out on the daily wrist checks and the sales forum. That's actually where I learned a lot of my knowledge from. Different brands, models, movements...... Ect. Our members here do a fine job at describing their watches and many chime in to bring other details and opinions. Plus, they post a ton of pics to help you get familiar with the jargon. You've come to the right place my friend. Enjoy and keep us posted if you've decided on your "first love".
  7. Oh how I miss 120 degree weather while training at Lake Meade or Indian springs !!
  8. Maybe try hard resetting your phone. Ever since I switched, I haven't had a single problem.
  9. Gentlemen, I actually started a thread about 20 posts down that could be of some help. May I recommend Tapatalk 2 ? It's about $4 at the App Store and its been working great for me and a few others.
  10. Sorry to hear about getting scammed. It's a shame you didn't find us sooner. Andrew " Trusty Time" is my preferred dealer. I've been dealing with him for quite a while. In fact, he's the only one I've delt with. You'll find a remarkable lot of info here. There are many knowledgable people, but some may have minimal patience. (Not excluding myself) This forum is very well organized and is constantly being updated. You should do fine. When you find time, take a stroll through the sales section. There's always a beautiful piece up for sale, trade or the occasional forum donation. When you then order a watch and receive it; please contribute to the daily wrist checks. Welcome
  11. I'm not a Breitling guy, but if I had that Beauty on my wrist and didn't get the job, there'd be plenty of smile left in me. Good luck with the interview !!
  12. Your willingness to agree to disagree takes class my friend. Perhaps a taste of insight should be warranted. I am a Psychology major with a passionate interest in the behavioral aspect. I feel like I am at best at giving perspectives, rather than concrete advice. I wish for people, all people ....... To stop. Smell the roses. Feel the Sun on your face. Deliberate a second. Then decide. Question. Or act. I've been a visiting member for nearly 3 years. Watches to me are fascinating works of art. I feel naked and incomplete without one. It's my " Mary Janes" if you will. I've listened. I've Read. Ive Been very quiet. Knowledge is intoxicating. And there is an infinite abundance here. I still feel adolescent sharing the same space with most knowledgable members. I've intended malice to no man. I've presented a perspective. Nothing more. And as always, I bid everyone, whether in agreement or disagreement a Beautiful and prosperous Day. That's my stand and I'm not sorry for it
  13. This watch is growing on me. You wear it well Sir.
  14. Passion is living. Your apology is accepted Sir. Your disincline to contribute an explanation is your right. But, if there are time constraints in the future, might I suggest thumbing on through to the next thread instead of chiming in? Time is money as they say
  15. Your willingness to admit that is admirable. Huge difference in being an ass and regard others as inferior; then to be an ass and actually recognize it with humility. Kudos to you Sir.
  16. Of course. How could I not notice this before. After all, you are " Marvelous". A student with an understanding that the world is for the taking and is obtainable. Presents a new and perhaps hybrid level of self esteem & confidence. Lets see where this view takes us In the next 20 years.
  17. I like the way you think Sir. Never think local.Think Global. Might wana brush up on your mandarin though.
  18. You're joking right? Or you are drunk ? Relying on reputation is EVERYTHING in this industry. So, our admins exhaustedly designed a forum for TD reviews. Member reviews. TD links. And have shared thousands of pics and advice condoning who to buy from and who's a scam for the sake of their health and not to preserve some sort of order and faith in collecting reps ? So, every member who is actively on here is naive ? Isn't that why you are here ? To gain knowledge and purchase a rep from a TD with a great reputation ? How did a 12 year old get on here is my question? You obviously are confused and must have thought this was a candy crush forum where reputations are useless and for the naive.
